if the death is cruel for a condemmed killer .they didn't
care about the victim or their family.. I believe that a killer should be executed in the same way that their victim died.
I am so tired of the prissy people crying about punishment of condemmed killers and that they should be treated like a boy scout This is a lot of BULL

I don't agree with killing. If you do what the killer did you're just as bad. I also agree with you in that I hate it when people come to defend a murdering person to try to get him/her out of their punishment, as long as it's not death.

I agree with you. People spend too much time on stuff that shouldn't matter. A killer shouldn't get a gentle death much less a debate on what is more gentle.
I also believe that long punishments are better than the death penalty. If you research it much, you will find that only certain people even get the death penalty. Mostly those without a good lawyer and blacks. How does the death penalty help prevent problems in the future? It does not.
Long periods of physical labor for years sound more fair to me. It costs over 30 thousand a year to keep a person in prison, why not make them work. Then they will be exhausted and will die a nice miserable long death.
I don't care so much on how criminal dies compared to did we get fair economic value out of the money that we have to waste on taking care of them.
Death penalties are suppose to go to the worst of the worst. Often times the real criminals aren't on death row. Maybe that is what we should care about.

I would have trouble being the one who says someone should die. Some people deserve it maybe, but a lot of people get released from prison years later because of DNA evidence etc. I often wonder how many innocent people have been put to death. Is the death of a few innocent men on death row worth the price of killing the ones who are guilty. Would you be the one to kill the person if you weren't 100% sure of the person's guilt?

If one thinks about it, life imprisonment without parole is a harsher punishment than taking a needle in the arm. Statistically, the death penalty has not proven to reduce murder rates. Additionally, it is actually more expensive for the State to execute criminals than incarcerating them. Know that sounds strange, but when you take into account years and years of appeal courts and lawyers that's the way it works. Finally, what better way to punish a murderer than to force him the rest of his life to contemplate it. In mean *** penitentiaries; not white collar country clubs.

I don't think they should get the death penalty because once you die, its over. They should be tortured for the rest of their lives. That would teach them to kill people. No more slaps on the wrist.

Because we are supposed to be better than they are, not the same as they are. We're executing them for doing something horrible. We should not then do the exact same thing, it is hypocracy, and it lowers us to their level.
