Romania is a beautiful country in Eastern Europe. It has a rich cultural tradition, but suffered greatly under communist rule.

Europe , near Bulgaria and Hungary, and now Serbia, and Black see.
Good gymnasts, ex dictator, nice country, near entry to EU
good programers,
misery as in all balkan countrys if you count yourself in balkan
lot of poor people, some new rich, same as in every southeast european country ( or do you count as centraleuropean)
and do not expect that everyone here is a american
and dont know where your country is.
, I am living some 600- 800 km from Romania.

Romania is in Europa and is neighborhood of Ukraine and Turkey,Before it was part of Russian group now it has joins Europa.

It's in Europe across the sea from the east coast of Italy, it was part of the communist bloc for a while, and the language is Latin-based like Italian and Spanish and French and Portuguese........

a beautiful country, in south-east europe, slightly smaller than oregon. neighbours are ukraine, hungary, serbia, bulgaria and the black sea. used to be a communist country, now a democratic country, joined nato in 2004. famous for its ice skating and gymnastic.

when i think of romania, i think of women's gymnastics and bella karyoli (spelling?).

that's what i know about romania.

oh no wait, i know one other thing. once renee zellweger filmed a movie there and she said the food was very "earthy," like potatoes and sausage.
