While going to meet some friends that I haven't seen in 2 years, I hit a parked truck. I was pulling in to a parking space right next to it and didn't realize how badly the SUV was parked next to me. I hit the truck trying to avoid the SUV. I quickly got out and checked the damage to the truck. I left a really big scratch on the passenger side. I got a piece of paper out of my purse and wrote my name, date, time of accident, insurance information, and my car info. I even left my cell number and a note to please call me so we can exchange the information properly. I then wrote down their license plate number and the type of truck it was. I couldn't see the year of the truck but it looked 1-3 years old. When I left the mall 2 hours later, the truck was gone. That was at 6:17pm on Thursday. They haven't contacted me yet. My insurance is under my parents’ name, and they told me not to inform the company until the owners contact me. Is there anything else I can do?

When I got pulled over, I didn't have insurance info, but I thought I was covered under my mom's plan. Apparently I wasn't and I wasn't pulled over for speeding or anything, it was because a taillight was out. I got insurance about an hour after I got pulled over, will the court dismiss it? I know I'm supposed to have it at the time, but that I showed I immediately got insurance, will they have any leniency you think? I have a clean record, and am a very presentable and good guy.

Unnecessary situations like the long period of power outages in Oklahoma last week could be easily mitigated. Auto deaths due to car/utility pole collisions could be reduced. Billions spent on annual tree-trimming could be used to pay for the burying of utilities. Why are we so backward on this?

I got pulled over but didn't have proof of insurance. I got a ticket, but only have to go in to the highway patrol to get the paper signed when I show proof of insurance. I got insurance that same day, will that work?

I am not a japanese descendent, so i'll need to get a work visa...
I pretend to graduate in a engineering college, in one of the top colleges in my country (Brazil)

I am based in this site. Do you guys think the criteria of taking japanese visas is the same for all the countries?
What else would i need to get the work visa? Besides having a degree (a degree means that you done the college, right?) and knowing the language?
