NO! It is unconstitutional for Bill to run for VP. Anybody that says anything different is either misinformed or just don't understand the constitution! (e.g., 6 people so far are saying that he can be VP. THEY ARE WRONG!)

IF Hillary became president (gasp, scream, ugh) and was killed, the VP becomes president. Bill has already had his 2 terms. He can't be president again.

People need to read the Constitution. To be Vice-President, one must have the same qualifications as needed for President for 4 years. The Constitution allows a person to be President for a maximum of 10 years. This is in case a sitting V-P should fill the remaining term of a President and then still be eligible for 2 full terms.
Since Bill Clinton has been President for 8 years already, he is disqualified from being elected to another full term as President, he is also disqualified from being Vice-President.
Also, I don't know what state Bill calls home now, but the President and Vice-President cannot have their primary residence in the same state.

As stated by falken, yes and no. This subject has been debated by constitutional experts to no avail.

This legal area is governed by the 22nd Amendment, which clearly states, "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

However, looking at the 22nd Amendment alone does not give us a clear picture, since we must also consider the 12th amendment, which prohibits ineligible citizens (i.e. 2 term presidents) from becoming VP. However, some scholars argue that the 12th amendment was not intended to include 2-term presidents since that amendment came significantly later (post Roosevelt). It could also technically be possible for Bill Clinton to be Speaker of the House and in some strange fashion become president via the line of succession should the president and vice president both be unable to discharge the duties of their offices.

It is important to note that none of these debates have been tested in real conditions. If Hillary were to pick Bill as VP, it's arguable that the Supreme Court could rule that he could remain as VP and discharge the duties of that office except for succession to the presidency in the event of incapacitation.

I am not certain, but I believe it is not legal. Bill cannot hold the office of the president as he has already served out the maximum term. Should something happen to Hilliary to cause her not to be able to complete a term, the VP is next in the line of succession.

Generally, once presidents leave office, it's unheard of them to hold elective office again at any level. It's not that they can't run for congress or governor or something else but once you hold the highest office you can probably be more effective out of government.

yes and no....bill clinton could be vice president but cannot succeed to the presidency as he is precluded by the constitution from being President again. Hillary would not waste a spot on the ticket that would not allow her party to stay in office in the event of her death or disability. there are specific articles in the constitution about presidential succession and the inability of someone who has served 2 terms as President from ever serving again.

Nope sorry. SInce Bill already had 2 terms as Pres he can't run as VP. In the event that a Pres has to step down or dies the VP takes over as Pres, and since Billy has already served two terms as Pres he is ineligible to run as VP.

yes she could. constitution says nothing about former pres. running for v-p. He could even succeed her as pres if something happened to her. Key word is he can not run or be elected another term as pres.
