The tan boots are one of the few items you are allowed to wear with civilian clothes. They aren't all that stylish, but if you've got a good reason then there's nothing stopping you from wearing them. Like they said before, you just can't wear them with a uniform unless you were/are actually a Marine and still conform to the standards of appearance in military uniform.

It is not a crime to wear clothing with military emblems on them. Yes, you can wear them. Keep them clean, just because.

no its not as long as your not in a full uniform. if you are in a full uniform then yes you can get in trouble for impersonation. but i wear my combat boots everywhere.
