You shouldn't be asking US, you should be researching the laws in your state, asking if they are pressing charges, and CALLING THE JAIL TO FIND OUT WHAT THE BAIL IS. Seriously, please take some time to think. Anyways, this is more of your friend's problem than it is yours.

If they are under 17 they will go to Juvie but over they will go to jai;l because they will getted tried as a an adult. Bail not sure. They might just get off with a fine because its not over a grand. It all depends on the Gallery

It truly depends on the area you live around. I had a few acquaintances I knew who got the same thing. I think it depends what the kid and/or parents say when he goes to court. If he/she has had past history on anything, then yeah probably, if not, probably just a few hours for community service, probation, and a fine. If she/he is over 18, then that person is probably liable for a fine. Just really depends on the situation and the judge. Best of luck!

First offense, he'll probably just get fined and community service. Bail could be recognizance or $1000 or more. It really depends on whether or not he has any other offenses.
