Bush certainly was a disappointment to me but Hillary scares me. She won't take a stand on anything and between the 2 of them they have about zero experience for the job.

I wish the democratic party would go back to being the working mans party instead of the lets subsidize something party. When I was growing up the choice was simple: We voted democrat every time.

Now I feel like they have sold me out. They want to give amnesty to illegal aliens. They want to place huge taxes on estates. They want to give everyone everything without that person taking any responsibility. And the repubs have their faults too, but they just don't seem as bad to me. We will recover from Bush. But we might not recover from a president & congress that allows 20+ million illegals to stay, collect welfare, social security, medical, schooling, bring in another 60+ million relatives and cause our country to be bilingual. Once that happens our childrens future is gone.

Yes, why wouldn't they be? If you're referring to gender/race, I don't think it matters as much as the media is playing it to. If you're referring to Dem/Rep, America is most definitely ready for a change; look at Bush's approval rating. Personally, I like a Republican Congress with a Democrat President. Hopefully, that will happen again!

Although almost anything would be better than Bush/Cheney, Clinton/whomever or Obama/whomever is at the bottom of my list.

Clinton-Obama????Nooooo way.
Barack will not be a flunky who does little more than attend state funerals and boy scout functions, while Bill Clinton is going to be , effectively, the VP of the United States.

We have been ready for seven years. I think our younger citizens will be shocked to see that they have a president who holds press conferences and speaks eloquently.

If you mean from a sex/race perspective, yes again. I am personally surprised that the english have had a female prime-minister before we had a female president.

I'm certainly not but I'll be mature enough to accept it than to say stupid things like "I'm going to leave the country".
