I need this to write an article for the school paper. I am looking for a current event news article (6 months). It must be a case that has not been decided yet, must be a civil issue related to a business.

I think we should just have the government evenly distrubute basic resources to everyone because money is corrupt and ends up the rich always wanting more while the poor struggle to survive.

My husband just deployed three weeks ago and I am trying to figure out what to get him that won't take up space. I already sent one box and it was mostly food and some pictures. But I am wondering what would you have enjoyed to get while stuck on a ship? Oh, he also just got picked up for 3rd. so I am trying to think of good ideas for congratulations. I already buy him video games each month so nothing along those lines. He already has an Ipod and his command is giving them cameras. And his birthday is in January. That is when I want the box to arrive. I know how long it takes. And this is our first deployment.

What do you think about the FSG sending a bowling set (plastic) for the command to make a "bowling league"? They are on a carrier.

Any ideas for the FSG to send to them also? We are just trying to find some ways to aleaviate the stress being gone over the holidays.

What are some of the reasons people get placed into protective custody in prisons? If you're not a gang member and dont want to be in general population with gang members, can you jsut ask to be placed in PC? Or could you just keep to yourself and still stay safe from gangs and other violence?

She doesn't OWN the office, she just works here, just like me. We have to break in to the supply room all the time cuz we lose the key, she even showed us how to do it. So, what would be the difference? I mean, I'm not gonna take anything, I just want to break in. (Her name's not even on the door)

Do libs ALWAYS have to revise history to fit their own problems with people?Ever since 9/11 they've been saying Pearl Harbor was an inside job too to show"the utter death and destruction that comes as a result of neo-cons".They called FDR a neo-con.And now to make redneck fundamentalists angry they're calling Jesus a liberal activist. When will it end?

They graduate from law school
They pass the Bar Exam

Yes they are overworked and may not be as dedicated to your case as a private attorney, but some really do work hard and want to help those in need.

Food relief is a disease. The more you give countries food, the more they want it, and they lose all self-respect for themselves. what country can't afford to feed it's people? It's a shame to see so many line up for food, to see fights over the food, and these people are getting the worst corn, the scraps that America wouldn't feed to their own cattle. Let the people FARM for themselves, sell their crops, get money, and live off of their land. Povery can only be solved if the people do it themselves and the useless UN stops meddling in other countries buisness. These UN peacekeepers who rape women in the Congo. These UN peacekeepers who did nothing to stop the Rwandan genocide, who refuse to call Darfur a genocide, who are doing nothing for the tragedies in Northern Uganda.

give me your honest opinion about this.

I scheduled a physical check up with a dr. that was referred to me..the person who scheduled the appointment knew I was a new patient and scheduled me. When I got there I waited 1 hour finally they call me in (I should have left earlier). Assistant explains to me Dr. will only see me for first time consultation(nocheck up) and get to know me better and I have to schedule an appointment after for the physical... Wait wait...I waited 1 hour, your gonna run my insurance and your gonna do what you can do in 1 visit in 2 visit's instead? Hey I didn't go to play around I'm not gonna pay to "get to know the Dr." I don't feel my insurance or I should pay for that!! Why do I have to pay for 2 visit, when it can be done in one. I demanded my co-pay back and did not reschedule I felt lied to and almost ripped off...they gave me my money back..I think this falls into insurance fraud..

The officer who pulled me over with Accutrac was sitting approx. 75 feet in front of a "Begin 40mph" sign when he pulled me over a 1/4 mile down the road for doing 51mph in the 25mph zone prior to the 40. Is he able to sit that close to the change in speed signs and if he was using Accutrac is it a viable case that he actually started timing me in the 40mph zone?

WICHITA, Kan. --Republican and Democratic lawmakers in Kansas are drafting separate bills targeting illegal immigration amid fears about a potential influx of illegal immigrants from neighboring states that have already started cracking down.

Across the nation, at least 127 cities and states have passed or are considering local laws aimed at curbing illegal immigration, according to a database compiled by the Fair Immigration Reform Movement, a project of the Center for Community Change, an immigrant advocacy group based in Washington, D.C.In Kansas, some people are concerned that illegal immigrants may move here from the neighboring states of Oklahoma, Colorado and Missouri, which have passed laws or instituted policies aimed at illegal immigration.

"I don't believe Kansas should become a sanctuary state as other states continue to pass legislation," said Rep. Brenda Landwehr, R-Wichita.

If the federal government is not going to solve the illegal immigration problem, she said, then states have to step in.

Her proposal, which is still being drafted, is based on laws in Oklahoma, Arizona and Colorado, Landwehr said. It would revoke business licenses and impose civil penalties on any Kansas business found to have employed an illegal immigrant, enforce federal law denying public benefits to illegal immigrants and strengthen local enforcement efforts.
