I think the educational systems are completely messed up. You can't get a good paying job unless you go to college, and you cant get into a good college without making good grades in high school. Most high school students are completely ignorant to supporting themselves and making a living, they have no idea how hard it is, yet they're expected to do well in high school or their live is going to be a complete nightmare. All this responsiblity lays in the student's hands, someone who isn't even responsible enough to consume alcohol! Why is that much responsibility put on a child?

Ok I joined the Navy for Information Technology and well I'm very very happy about it and I havent gone to boot camp yet so I don't know exactly what's going to happen but I love it.

Ok before that though I was going to join the air force but the navy kinda talked to me more at the time then I joined them .

now my question is in the field of computers and Information Technology is it smart to go with the navy or would it have been a better Idea to go into the blue with airforce?

what would you have done?

Has Giuiani's lawfirm "Bracewell & Giuliani" made millions off of Hugo Chaves in return for lobbying for him in washington?

Has Giulani's lawfirm "Bracewell & Giuliani" made millions more working for the corporation Cintra to help laws pass to allow it ti build parts of the NAFTA superhighway (Trans texas super corridor) Chinese MIlitary owned ports in Mexco?

Are these actions by Giuliani & his Lawfirm proper reflections of his "tough on terror" views, and the proper path for America?

Honestly, I am immensely peeved at the attempts of the Liberal party to scare the Australian public into steering well clear of the ALP and Kevin Rudd.

I would like to see Kevin Rudd win the election. The whole "Rudd will stuff up the budget" thing is desperate. The Liberals are going by the results of past ALP governments, and I challenge them to actually advertise their positive side, not the ALP's negative side.

Therefore, my question is thus; Have you been affected by the Liberal's scare campaign?

I want to hear peoples' opinions and comments on a widely held belief of the current administration and almost all Republican candidates for 2008. They say that our foreign policy has little/nothing to do with th attacks. On the opposing side many Democratic candidates and Ron Paul, a Republican oppose the Iraq war and much of the involvement in the middle east. Ron Paul goes further saying that terrorists largely hate us because "we are over there" and are occupying much of the Muslim world, setting up bases and spreading our influence where it does not belong.

I feel that bombing many countries for decades in various wars and killing hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of civilians (mothers, fathers, children) is what creates hate in these nations. What if China attacked us? It would clearly cause hate and retaliation! We would not stand by while another country started an unjust war against OUR country, why should we expect them to? Terrorists react, they do not start conflicts.

This Novak guy is the sleeziest spin artist we've ever seen...

He really managed to get Obama all riled up against Hillary for a minute until Obama wised up and realized he was responding to a Fox tactical maneuver...

It's a damn shame that our Democratic Presidential candidates have to endur trickery and smear campaigns coming from Rupert Murdoch's minions.

Barack Obama can't respond to Fox the way I'm sure he'd like to at this point... but we can...

Will you join me in switching to another channel?

Here's the latest Fox spin on the matter (if you absolutely must hear this garbage from the source...):

I did some freelance work for a man in Connecticut and it doesn't look like he's going to pay me. It was $350 which isn't much to most people, but to a single mom who is scraping by, it's quite a bit. Is there anything I can do legally? I realize that legal fees would probably eat me alive, but is there a way to at least scare him into thinking I can squeeze my money out of him one way or another?

NO this isn't something perverted. I teach history at a high school and this is only my 2nd year teaching. I teach it for grades 11 and 12, in Missouri (I wont say school or town for privacy reasons) . I also have had a recording studio in my basement that I have been using for about 6 years. I use it with my band, and also use it with other local bands who want to make an EP for some extra money. ( I master all the work and it's very professional) . Anyways, 4 of my students who have their own band asked me if they could pay to use my studio and if I'd master and mix their songs. Only 1 of those for students is not a minor. If I was to let them come to my house and charge them to use my studio (the same as I charge all other bands) and help them with their EP, could I get in trouble in anyway legally since they are my students? Would my job or reputataion be at stake in any way? Please let me know what you know. Thank you.

You know I grew up and was taught in the united states we were a constitutional republic. In a constitutional republic people elect representatives to represent our voice and our belief in different matters... If this were true why do politicians run on platforms rather then listen to the voice of the people? Are these people not supposed to "represent" us?

If she does manage to get into office, I fear a lot of her ideas will do away with a lot of the freedoms we enjoy today. As if things havent been getting worse for years anyways, but I think Hillary is going to mean the end of free enterprise and independent thinking in many ways... am I looking at this the wrong way?

You know what they say about learning from history? if you dont learn from it, your doomed to repeat it. Ignorance is bliss.

I mysely am proud to say i am mexican american born in waco ,texas. My mother was born in matamoros ,mex ironicly she has worked for sherrif's office, immigration(go figure) and as security for 20 years. she is not a us citizen yet. anyways
i see alot of hate towards mexican people as i see other races hate african american people and your being just like them. You might as well join the kkk. This is exactlly why iran and venenzuela laugh at us . It seems alot of you do not look and respect the ACTUAL people who are here illegally and working and minding their own business, you only see the label of illegal. So REally you wanna go work in the fields? Work in the hotels as a janitor? or cleaning lady for 5.75? or every other crappy job they do?? I know there is alot of crime but you dont even know that those criminals are from gangs that come from south am

i'm in college and all I ever hear is bush is an idiot, bush is stupid, bush is dumber then a chimp.. then i ask them why is he stupid, and they can never give me a logical answer. They say oh he can't pronounce things right or hes a puppet. But they never back up their claims when I question them. Because the truth is bush is intelligent and quite capable. He may have made some mistakes but every president does. Yes I am defending bush. Any responses?
