YES i use to have this problem before we moved, they was delivering my stuff to the wrong house, i pt a claim in and won,
it was items bought off eBay and even the normal every day mail that i lost.
i won and got 105:00 pounds which was the value of the goods i lost it was just PS2 games but over the months it added up to a fair amount in the end i had to get everything sent recorded delivery,
but what got me was parcel force , city link always found my house was just the royal mail that got it wrong,
i even posted my self a empty DVD case with a letter inside,
it read if your reading this your a thief this was not addressed to you.
on the 6th time i sent myself it , it went missing

Thats not the truth, there would be an investigation if 10 packets went missing in this amount of time.If it is true then contact postwatch, but better is to ask to speak to the manager of the sorting office.Postal workers arn't corrupt, the men at the top of Royal Mail are though!

It may be due to the central sorting system where mail to be delivered localy is transported long distances to be sorted and then brought back again, so that its easier to be mislaid or lost.
Remember the days of local sorting? A letter posted early in the morning for local delivery would arrive in the second delivery the same day, and if it missed that it would arrive in the third delivery.
Also employers don't always check the past records of incoming employees. I know one security firm who recruited an ex-prisoner and it took them 2 months to discover his history. It wasn't me you comedians!

I've found Royal Mail to be quite good at deliveries. If you're losing mail it's more likely that it's being stolen. You can try contacting Royal Mail and see what they say. Or just get a POBox.

It would appear that my postman can't read addresses, we have to take mail to neighbours houses, hence loads goes missing. Therefore I think the problem lies with incompetent postmen.

I've only had this happen once (to my knowledge) while the recent mail strikes were on.
