Jesus sacrificed himself and knew what he was doing, I doubt President Bush can say the same.

And its ok to make certain mistakes, thats what reminds us about our humanity, but to repeatedly make constant mistakes is a different argument.

The Romans were the only ones ever to use crucifixion. And it was often Jews that they crucified; sometimes as many as 100 in a single day.

Jesus was a Jew and as many intelligent Christians know, the Jews had nothing to do with his death.

So sorry to disappoint you.

Are you elevating Dubya to that of a mythical deity? ( And FYI, it was the Romans that supposedly crucified the fictional Bible hero, Jesus.)
The Romans also elevated Ceasar to godhood..and we all know what happened to the Roman Empire. The USA is heading in the same direction, and the Bush Debacle is largely responsible.

Please give a single example of "Societies tend to crucify their leaders and heroes" ????

Bush (and cronies) deserves to be tried for treason, never mind impeached.

I'd like to see him crucified.
I'd buy front row seats.

But to answer your question "no" he is not a hero or looked up to by anyone, he is not a leader, a uniter, or a teacher.

He's simply a mad, evil, dumbass, monkey, and that is not the persona imbued upon a person who is "crucified"

Sorry, the Romans crucified Jesus, not the Jews. And Bush is an idiot.

No, they don't. People don't crucify their heroes. That doesn't make sense. When has anyone ever crucified their hero?

Bush has been a horrible President. And I question him as a human being also.

The Romans crucified Jesus, if he ever existed. So take that mess somewhere else.

And we haven't yet begun to bring George W. Bush to justice, but hopefully there will be an accounting for his crimes. The President is not a king, and he must be held to the law like everyone else.

First, Jesus was far far more than a mere hero or a leader but obviously you don't know much about him or his story or you wouldn't be comparing Christ to the likes of politicians and mortals.

Every cynic believes that his/her place in history is marked with an exclamation point. Every optimist believes that his/her place in history reflects improved opportunities over generations past.

There seems to be a few cynics here.
