The Gas taxes the rip off council tax the inflation proof pensions
for the civil service ,the phone in rip offs ,the immigrants taking the council houses ,paying family allowance for kids in other countries ..
it will only get worse ,the rich can and have and do go to thier 2nd house in another country ot emigrate while collecting their pension ,the rest will be left to eat the shcit

I was pulled over by a police officer the other night and i he gave me a ticket for not having my drivers license,open container (my friends, which he brought with him and also got a ticket), and driving with no lights. I have a valid license but i lost it, i have been using my passport as i.d for the past week. anyways the officer wrote the name that was on my insurance card which is my fathers name. since he wrote the wrong name down is the ticket void? i live in georgia

What is freedom worth? How much of your belongings would you be willing / happy to have destroyed?

I'm just curious what it was like to get "freedom" and lose almost everything else.

Now before you people get all over my case, I heard that french people in Normandy were irate over the American bombings and destruction. Shoot the messenger if you want. But, I think this is worth pondering.

600 billion borrowed dollars a year for decades and our military can't subdue a few thousand guys in bathrobes and shower shoes. This needs some explaining. The Bush Junta doesn't want to talk about it, and in fear of being accused of being 'soft' on terrorism or accused of not 'supporting the troops' nobody else wants to bring up the subject either. Since I'm the town scold I'll bring it up. We borrow tons of money, give it to the military on a silver platter and nothing happens....except we have to borrow more money the next year for the same sub-par performance. Attack me and wave the flag all you want, but at least try to explain the unexplainable!

Esteemed reporter Robert Novak has reported that a concerned Democratic insider says that Hillary has 'secret info' about Barack Obama that would ruin him and his campaign . Many see this as an attempt to plant doubt in the minds of the voters without actually saying what 'it' is .
Already Democratic spin machines are attempting to blame this fiasco on the Republicans . But truth be told , Novak just stated that his sources are all Democrats . In an interview this morning , Novak made it quite clear that he has not even spoken with ANY Republicans concerning this story . They are not his sources for this .

It seems that most high level politicians are also well connected to those in business, and finance. Do most politicians gain major investments, and business ideas by being interconnected with the business and financial elite?

Most politicians in the United States seem to be wealthy one way or another, at least having assets in excess of $200,000. Are most invested in some corporation?

why does America have the highest Jail population in the free and not so free world?...
could it be that at exactly the same time these populations are burgeoning State Prisons have become privatized profit centers?.. an industrial Prison Complex? With a built in slave labor force ?

I was under the impression that employers had to pay full pay (obviously part made up of SSP) for a limited period. My father has applied for housing benefit etc but has been told he does not qualify. There is no way he can live off 72 pound per week and is seriously thinking about going back to work, this will be against doctors advice as he is currently waiting on major surgery
