We are a Filipino Citizen living in Singapore . My daughter is holding a student pass and Am on dependant pass. In Philippines, you have to go through agency to get your visa to Japan. What about our case? Do I have to fly back to Philippines and get our visa from there? Have check the web MOFA:Visiting Japan but still not so sure. What are the requirements that I have to produce to approve our visa? Please no sarcastic responce. Please take note that I need an answer & advice but not an opinion. Thank's a lot!! God Bless!!

if you reside in Singapore? you are allowed as a resident to apply for a visa for Japan in Singapore;

Apply for the visas at the Japanese Embassy in Singapore and present documents showing that you can finance the expenses of the visit in Japan.

Have you contacted the Japanese embassy in Singapore where you are living? There should be no reason you can't process the visa request locally.
