Read that, and please tell me how you can justify by "law", the giving by a COURT of 200 lashes for a woman who was GANG RAPED by several men!?!? Because she was caught "alone" in the company of unrelated men. EXCUSE ME??? She was RAPED by the idiots? Okay they were sentenced too -- but MY GOD she was the victim! She was also in the car at the time of her exboyfriend (OMIGOD -- what a travesty!), and the gang raped them BOTH. But she gets the most severe punishment? What kind of ***-backwards "justice" is that?

Sharia law -- not just for extremists anymore! (But nuts I'd say!) Then in Ontario, we had a minority that wanted to introduce special Sharia law tribunals in ONTARIO CANADA! Can you believe this? Thank GOD the government quashed that idea but fast, but I cannot believe the gall that some have thinking they can come to a new and loving country to further spread their idiocy instead of respecting the CORRECT rule of humane, secular law. And no, normal, loving, secular-law-abiding Muslims are not included in this group or post above.

Thoughts on this article? Sorry for the rant, can’t believe how angry this makes me as a loving Christian…

Proclaiming a sense of new energy and empowerment, the nation's Roman Catholic bishops on Wednesday issued instructions to Catholic voters that their eternal salvation could be at stake when they cast ballots.

Bishops emphasized that voters must consider the church's teachings on abortion and other moral issues when they select a candidate for the White House or any other office. If they don't, bishops said, it's not clergy who will judge them but God.
Voters are implored not to support abortion-rights political candidates but also advised that views on abortion should not be the sole factor. Catholics should also weigh church teaching on such moral issues as immigration, just war and poverty, bishops said. The Gospel mandate to “welcome the stranger” requires Catholics to care for and
stand with immigrants, both documented and undocumented, including immigrant children. Comprehensive reform is urgently necessary to fix a broken immigration system and should include a temporary work program with worker protections and a path to permanent residency; family reunification policies; a broad and fair legalization program; access to legal protections, including due process and essential public programs; refuge for those fleeing persecution and exploitation; and policies to address the root causes of migration. The right and responsibility of nations to control their borders and to maintain the rule of law should be recognized
This is nothing new, the Catholic Church in the US has been pushing for "comprehensive immigration reform" ever since illegal immigration became a major issue a year and a half ago. However, I don't think someone's stance on illegal immigration is a key factor for eternal salvation. I'm sure many Catholics disagree with the church's support of amnesty for illegal immigrants. Does that mean they're bad people? Of course not. I resent the Catholic Church for trying to portray those that oppose amnesty for illegal immigrants as being morally or religiously wrong. Since when did borders become morally wrong?

The last sentence of the paragraph on immigration and illegal immigration seems a bit laughable. "The right and responsibility of nations to control their borders and to maintain the rule of law should be recognized." That statement completely flies in the face of support for illegal immigrant amnesty. Giving legalization to people who illegally entered this country sets a precedent that nations should not be allowed to control their borders, and that it should allow anyone in who wants in. It's ludicrous, but I doubt the Catholic Church really cares.

It's illegal to discriminate based on gender, nationality, race, age and in some places sexual orientation.

It's bad to taste to insult people based on any of these attributes as well.

But insulting and smearing, slandering people with different political ideology is prime time entertainment these days.

Is discrimination based on ideology far behind? Is it already happening?

I have been working for a social work on a agency on a special project for a year for 11 hours one day a month. They had now written to myself and the other two workers on this project to say that our hourly pay rate is being cut. I know that they agency are not obliged to continue to provide us with work, however, I am wondering if we have any protection with regard to our pay on this project, which we are all very commited too.

It has always been the Clinton "m.o." to disparage, attack, harm, intimidate and attempt to destroy anyone for "whistle blowing" on a Clinton.

Funny, the Clinton apologists love whistle blowers when they the target is their political enemy- Valerie Plame, Erin Brokovich, John Dean, etc.; the whistle blowers they condemn are Paula Jones, Linda Tripp and now Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff better watch her back. Muriel came forward to bring evidence that sHrillery is filling public q/a's with ringers.

Don't forget sHrillery is the one who hired the P.I.'s and thugs to smear and intimidate the victims of Billy's trysts, harrassments, rapes, gropes, affairs, etc. sHrilery doesn't care who's blowing Bill's whistle, she only cares about protecting the farce of her marriage (HillBilly Camelot) that the Clintons and media have fabricated.

Remember this when she runs for President

Bill & Hillary: Worth remembering and this came from a Democrat.

Dear Mr. Ex President Clinton:

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted for Clinton-Gore." So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending my "Thank you" for what you have done, specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick. Did I leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had really planned to wait until he was a little older to discu ss it with him, but now he knows more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place (especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to know is what the meaning of "is" is. It really is great to know that certain sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex while the other one does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie; "Wag the Dog" could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and John Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 House and Senate witnesses who have pled the 5th Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4 imprisonments from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges and 32 criminal convictions (so far) in the other " Clinton" scandals.

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting" much of our foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations" carefully disguised as necessary trips.

9. Thank you, also, for "finding" millions of dollars (I really didn't need it in the first place, and I can't think of a more deserving group of recipients for my hard-earned tax dollars) for all of your globe-trotting. I understand you, the family and your cronies have logged in more time aboard Air Force One than any other administration.

10. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140 pardons of convicted felons and indicted felons-in-ex ile. We will love to have them rejoin society. (Not to mention the scores you pardoned while Governor of Arkansas )

11. Thanks also for removing the White House silverware. I'm sure that Laura Bush didn't like the pattern anyway. Also, enjoy the housewarming gifts you've received from your "friends."

12. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White House for vandalizing and destroying government property on the way out. I also appreciate removing all of that excess weight ( China , silverware, linen, towels, ash trays, soap, pens, magnetic compass, flight manuals, etc.) out of Air Force 1. The weight savings means burning less fuel, thus less tax dollars spent on jet fuel. Thank you!

13. And finally, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million dollar advance for her "tell-all " book and you, Bill, the $10 million advance for your memoirs. Who says crime doesn't pay?

14. The last and most important point - thank you for forcing Israe l to let Mohammed Atta go free. Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tri! ed and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners". However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center . This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all later reports. Why shouldn't Americans know the real truth?
What a guy!

SINCERELY,
A US Citizen

PS. Please pass along a special thank you to Al Gore for "inventing" the Internet, without which I would not be able to send th is wonderful, factual e-mail.

AND THE REST OF THE STORY:

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua , New York . Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents.

The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton 's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, this is all perfectly legal!

When she runs for President, will you vote for her?

How many people can YOU send this to? Unfortunately s ome will read it and not care but just maybe this will get through to others.

The reports they give are not for the government, but showing the injustice that private citizens are suffering at the hands of the government. One for example are veterans who are injured in war and not given the full benefits that they should receive. Or a state that is forcing parents to immunize their children or face a $50 fine a day for not doing it even though there are laws protecting those by their religious beliefs or medical concerns. How is this biased reporting?

My son needs to undergo some counseling and pass an evaluation before he can have unsupervised visits, but he is having trouble getting the counseling.

If he wants to see his daughter (4 years old) he has to travel two hours to the town where she lives and visit with her at the YMCA building there. He's unable to travel 2 hours every weekend to see her. Is it possible to go to court and have his supervised visits moved to another town or alternated between towns so he's not doing all the driving all the time?

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The city that's home to Harvard and MIT solidified its nickname as "The People's Republic of Cambridge" when it put a stop to a Boy Scout troop's Election Day drive to collect care packages for American soldiers in Iraq, claiming it was "political."

“We just wanted to make a lot of troops happy,” Scout Patrick O’Connor told the Boston Herald.

The big-hearted Scouts from Cambridge Troop 45 had placed donation boxes at the city's 33 polling stations in hopes of collecting toiletries, magazines, candy and other items after one of O'Connor's relatives was injured in an IED explosion while serving in Iraq.

But someone complained to the city, allegedly claiming the boxes were a “political statement,” and the boxes were removed.

Click here to read the Boston Herald story.

Video: Cops bust Boy Scouts for being too "pro-war."

“I was devastated that someone would think to take (the donation boxes) out,” O'Connor told the newspaper.

“This was not about supporting the war or any politician or political view," troop committee chairman Jamisean Patterson told the Herald. "This was supporting the brave men and women who are stationed overseas.”

Patterson said the Scouts obtained a verbal OK from the city election commission and polling station officials.

Cambridge Vice Mayor Timothy J. Toomey Jr. told the Herald that a breakdown in communication, rather than malice, led to the boxes being removed.

“Boy Scouts Troop 45’s efforts to support our troops are a benefit for the entire community, and the council will be working with them to ensure that their goals are fully realized,” he said in a written statement.

The republicans have bloodlust for an innocent country that has done nothing to the United States.

Even if you believe that bs about funding Al Qaeda, just remember Blackwater did too with all the missing and smuggled weapons and the US has always funded terrorists when it suits their agenda.

So what have the Democrats done to stop the bombing of Iran?

should the liberal "pull out" half way through the fight because beating back an intruder is un-justified......after all violence does not solve anything right.

should the liberal try and understand that the intruder is just a poor and desperate individual who needs help, would the liberal then tell the burgler to go the rich neighbors house and try to take what is rightfully his.

No representation without taxation?

Greater representation for greater taxation?

Perhaps the Decline and Fall of Western civilisation can be attributed to "the refusal to acknowledge that there is anything wrong with a corrupt and corrupting system of indiscriminate universal suffrage, which allows politicians to bribe the voters who take in welfare with the money of those who give in taxes.
