He is a clown and will become a petty dictator if he wins the referendum in december.
He should wear a big red nose when he makes a speach then he can say whatever stupidities he wants, it would go well with his shirt.

Hugo Chavez, President of Venezuela, is very popular here in London. Mayor Ken Livingstone struck a deal with Hugo Chavez which means that London gets cut price diesel oil from Venezuela. This fuel will be used to drive London's massive fleet of world famous red buses.
While stocks last, London is working flat out developing a new hydrogen driven type of bus. These should be on our streets sometime before the 2012 London Olympics.
I expect Hugo will get a free seat at the Olympics, courtesy of Mayor Ken. The rest of us will just have to queue up in the rain.
I do not think that Hugo is very popular at the Whitehouse.

He's running a great con.
Western Liberals will give a Military Fascist dictator a pass if he makes it look like he's setting up a Communist government with a Socialist economy, just like they do with Castro.
The government can look almost exactly like the Nazis, just with different uniforms, and none of them will take note as long as he remembers to recite some Lenin or Marx once in a while.
You have to give him credit, even thought he's a hundred percent Fascist, he really knows how to work the Libs in this country. They love him.

He started out promising but now he's just become another mad dictator. Venezuela's rich in oil and yet the poor are as poor as ever. All talk, no action.

He is a narcissist with an enflated ego. He does not have a genuine bone in his body. He is only out to grab as much power from his people as he can. Hasn't anyone noticed he has made himself president for life?

I think he has been an inspiration to his people. However his recent comments about the King of Spain should not have been made in public - he, as a leader, speaks for his country, and personal opinion is inappropriate.

He's no friend of George W. Bush, and that makes him a friend of mine!
Chavez is a thorn in America's side because he refuses to bend to America's pompous attitudes of protecting its "self-interests". I think Chavez is a brave man; but I also believe he'll become a victim of a CIA-sponsored assassination as soon as the U.S.A. decides it needs more Venezuelan OIL. -RKO- 11/17/07
