Should I fight the ticket? The legal blood alcohol (BAC) limit in my state is .08 and I was below that. I passed all the field sobriety tests, and actually the PAS (field breathalyser) said I was sober, but the officer took me in to the station anyway. I think that is illegal as there was no probable cause. Do you think I should fight the ticket, and possibly sue for false arrest (mental anguish, loss of consortium), as well as failure to medically adress my injuries in an appropriate time fashion. I should have had to go to the ER for a check first, by which time my BAC would have blown zero.
My friend says that, because I totalled the car, and injured myself, that it is now felony DUI. I think that's not ture, because it was my car and my injuries, not someone else's. He says I should take a plea bargain and will get off cheaper and easier. By the way, the incident happened while off roading, so I'm not sure whether the street laws even apply.

How to file a complaint with consumer protection cell and to claim compensation?

I had sent a Speed Post Money Order from Delhi of Rs. 3000/-to my daughter in Mumbai who is a student of TISS.. Even after a month that could not be delivered. But after constant pursuation of Postal higher authorities I was paid back the ammount of Rs. 3000/-. But I was not paid my MO charges of Rs.150 + speed post charges Rs.12 and my other expences to constently contacting my daughter over mobile phone, penal intrest and charges for spending many man hours and all hastles I had faced. Kindly advise how to go about and to get compensated and what shall be the ammount that I should claim?

Why dont wee round up all our lawyers, and put them in jail like there doing in Pakistan?

do you think pakistan is a dictatorship, could you imagine ? our police and soilders hitting our people over the head and kicking them into police cells just for exercising a peacfull demonstration.

im 20 my g/f is 16 ... what can the law do?

so i live in California i am 20 male and my girlfriend is 16.
at 1st her parents were ok with me because they heard im a good guy from a lot of people ...
but all of a sudden they changed their mind and told her we cant see each other or even talk.. or they will get a restraining order on me ...
we dont have sex and dont plan on it ..
so im just wondering what can really happen to me since were not having sex , and im good to her ...
anyone have any advice or know about stuff like this ..
its driving me nuts =/

I have a warrant for my arrest in NJ, for not answering tickets. I'm out of state in California.?

Is there anyway to pay this ONLINE or by mail? So that they can remove the warrant. Its at the Mt. arlington police station in jersey.

I now know why people around the world hate or pity the United States...?

After quite a log time out of the US and in Japan, I come to realize why our nation is always criticized by other countries and I agree with them now. I used to think that the US was always criticized because we where a better nation of the world and that others "envied" or way of life, but that turned out to be really ignorant of me. I'll get to the point, after spending 2 years I japan I realized how inferior the US has gotten over the years, I see how we are manipulated by the media and its effect on our lives, the media seems perverted to me now and unwatchable. I see how education system in our country is so bad and disgusting in terms of standards compared to the rest of civilization. I now see how our government is so corrupt and driven by money and power instead of trying to rally make an effort in making a better society which has great potential. I would not expect you guys to understand me cuase if you did we would not be in this mess we are in now. America needs to wake-up

Should UK have responded more aggressively?

When Israeli solders were captured by Palestine, Israel declared War on Palestine. As they were ready and not afraid of a good fight. Why then does the UK government do nothing when Iran captured their solders? Too chicken for a fight maybe? Or they just don’t think it’s important enough to go to war over a few captured UK solders.
