Public records reveal that as Gore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. (He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself.
Then there is the troubling matter of his energy use. In the Washington, D.C., area, utility companies offer wind energy as an alternative to traditional energy. In Nashville, similar programs exist. Utility customers must simply pay a few extra pennies per kilowatt hour, and they can continue living their carbon-neutral lifestyles knowing that they are supporting wind energy. Plenty of businesses and institutions have signed up. Even the Bush administration is using green energy for some federal office buildings, as are thousands of area residents.
But according to public records, there is no evidence that Gore has signed up to use green energy in either of his large residences. When contacted Wednesday, Gore's office confirmed as much but said the Gores were looking into making the switch at both homes. Talk about inconvenient truths.

Algore is a hypocrite. He has taken money from leftist environmentalist nutjobs and created a visual circus of lies and crazy theory’s. People think of that movie as an educational documentary. And that’s sad. No more educational than Scary Movie 4, but much less entertaining. He Is making money playing on fears of Americans. He should be ashamed. The Icecaps are melting on Mars too. I suppose we are responsible for that! This coming from the guy who “invented the Internet”. He’s a quack.

Gore calls for a new spiritual relationship between man and earth and points to ancient goddess or nature worship.
"The spiritual sense of our place in nature predates Native American cultures; increasingly it can be traced to the origins of human civilization. A growing number of anthropologists and archaeomythologists, such as Marija Gimbutas and Riane Esler argue that the prevailing ideology of belief prehistoric Europe and much of the world was based on the worship of a single earth goddess, who was assumed to be the fount of all life and who radiated harmony among all living things. Much of the evidence for the existence of this primitive religion comes from the many thousands of artifacts uncovered in ceremonial sites. These sites are so widespread that they seem to confirm the notion that a goddess religion was ubiquitous through much of the world until the antecedents of today's religions, most of which still have a distinctly masculine orientation...swept out of India and the Near East, almost obliterating belief in the goddess. The last vestige of organized goddess worship was eliminated by Christianity as late as the fifteenth century in Lithuania."
Well, if you ask me, the man is off his rocker.

Look, the guy just isn't right. The mining operation on his property at his house in Tennessee is the biggest polluter in that county. His houses use about 4 times the power that the average house uses. He flies around in private jets and rides around in giant SUVs...but he wants YOU to cut back and limit what YOU do. No, he's not a hypocrite, he just knows better than you about how you should behave.

liberals only care for "free speech" when what THEY say is agreed to. if not, they try to suppress it. and as far as gore being a hypocrite is concerned, this goes without saying when speaking of a democrat. however, even for a democrat, gore's hypocrisy on the environment he supposedly cares for is simply astounding and utterly reprehensible.

Gee, is there such a thing as too much free speech? I thought that is what the liberals were always screaming about. Its funny how they only want free speech when it comes to their points of view.
