I agree completely.
But, I would take it one step farther. I would require the ppl that voted for Bush the second time, after he had already started the war and the 911 Commission Report had already stated there were no WMDs in Iraq, be the ones to pay for it also.
I am saying for these ppl that voted for Bush in 2004 to pay extra taxes to cover the war. Why should my tax dollars have to pay for a war that I saw from day one as morally bankrupt.

The corporations that profit the most are the central banks, which are controlled by the families of Rockefeller, Morgan, Warburgh, Bush, Rothschild and quite a few others. Then you have many other companies as well. The main one being Halliburton... which Cheney was at one time the CEO of, and shares interest in with Bush. All of these are connected to the Bilderbergs... who, as a general rule, fund both sides of every war. Prescott Bush, for example, funded Adolph Hitler. He is also our current president's grandfather. Every war for the past 200+ years has been engineered and funded on both sides by these people. They generated huge profits from the interest on war loans, and they are still doing this today. Typically they buy up the remains for pennies on the dollar, maximizing their future profitability for later use. It is virtually a guarantee that we will be involved in Pakistan, and a conflict with Iran is desired by these people as well. Proving the world to be over-run by terrorists will then justify a global police state which they will control. Once they have global control, they fully intend to depopulate the Earth by about 7 billion lives, bringing the global population to an easily controllable 100 million or less. These people already have more money than they will ever spend... but this is no longer about money... it is about domination, control, and power. Total power over the entire Earth, and they will not stop until they have it. These people have already formed the EU. The North American Union is already effectively in place. The Asian is in the process, as is the African Union. Once these are all in place, they will create a borderless world with a single currency and an enslaved populace.

No one profits from war.
The cost of one life is immeasurable.
You think you're being cute about Iraq. The oil contracts have gone to European countries.
The UN was making huge amounts of money (billions) by keeping us out of Iraq (documented by the oil for food scandal).
The only thing America has to gain from Iraq is establishing a democracy in the middle east. We have invested hundreds of millions of dollars along with thousands of lives to meet this end.
There are several nations benefiting from the war in Iraq, the least of which is the US.
You have to ask, "Why would we risk that much, with nothing to gain?"
Why would we offer to extend freedom to a people who know nothing about us?
Its kind of what we do.
Have you heard about World War 2?
Lots of people died to liberate some countries in a foreign land.
Why did we do it? We had to stop evil before it reached our shores.
You need to rethink what your country, your freedoms, mean to you, and then think about what your life would be without them.
Corporate profits?
Disgusting that you would even think of that for a motivation to war.

Halliburton, Bechtel, Blackwater, Tri-conopy, "Defense" (Euphemism) Contractors, Raytheon etal.
The war is being privatized. There are more contractors in Iraq-roughly 170.000- than troops.
Once again, the current trend is to nationalize the expenses but privatize the profits.
No chance for them to pick up the tab. They would not be in it if they had to.
No war is ever fought for ideals. That is what we are being told to justify the common man's sacrifices. Wars are economic , hance control, devices.

The victor will never be held responsible for waging a war. Only the defeated ones pay the price.

Bush is profiting from oil and Cheney is harvesting profits from Blackwater Security and construction contracts. They should add benefits to soldiers who died from the Iraq war.
