Oh it's much worse than that! They will brainwash their children with "you better be good or santa clause won't bring any gifts" or "be nice, Jesus is watching always"
Brainwashing if children has always been done. No one is born a racist. Kids that haven't been taught to hate will play with each other and have a wonderful time regardless of race, religion, national origin, or any of the other divisive factors.

If some parents are self-serving enough to bainwash their children to believe that 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina were acts of God to punish America for its tolerance of homosexuality(look up Westboro Baptist Church), then yes, then yes, some of them are self-serving enough to do the same with political parties.

You have posed an interesting question that sparks debate from many different viewpoints. I for one remember my childhood being raised by two working parents in a very diverse neighborhood where there were many differing opinions politically. My folks were of Irish ancestry on my mother’s side and Swedish on my father’s side. My Grandparents on my mother’s side owned a small business and grandpa was also a tradesman who helped form the local labor union and was president of it for many years. My father’s side of the family also was involved in family owned business and he worked hourly in various factories as a union member all his life, mom worked in retail and maintained the household. All were registered democrats and supported the democratic party. All the male family members served and fought for their country through WWI and WWII . I recall listening to political conversations between the male family members during times of family gatherings and it no doubt shaped my viewpoints, but life’s experiences have also helped to make me my own man. As a student in school during the early sixties I remember many interesting debates in sociology class (the only class I maintained straight A’s) issues like the Vietnam war were a great catalyst for heated debate as well as significant historical events. I remember how you could tell a lot about the participant’s background by the stance they took on some issues. You learned a lot about people, indifference and tolerance. Religion, race, ethnicity, political affiliations all played key roles with the smarter teachers keeping their two cents to themselves. It was a tremendous period of growth and understanding that seems to be becoming more rare these days. It was the melting pot of America. Speaking with young folks today, it appears a different approach has been taken with values and thought dictated to the students based on the beliefs of their teachers, those who debate on the side of the teacher are given the floor and an approving grade, those that don’t are ridiculed and cut short. In higher education many colleges seem to favor values of either the conservative or the liberal depending which one you choose. Look at Cornell vrs. Columbia. My niece a valedictorian, national honor student, and college graduate from a prominent business school was once told by her college professor that she should get her political affiliation changed to more conservative values. She is highly successful and remains a Democrat by her own beliefs to this day. I remember visiting her University and being astounded at the number of foreign made vehicles that were present in the faculty lot. I asked her about the perceived viewpoints that her mentors had on labor and political values, the answer did not surprise me. In answer to your specific question, I don’t think it matters so much as the ability to allow freethinking and expression so that personal opinions and thoughts are fostered and not suppressed.

If you don't talk to your children, someone else will
How do children form opinions without hearing them from various sources including their mothers political views
How can anyone argue against that
People should answer whether they are a parent or just a child of a parent

Being a parent is the ultimate ego trip. I mean you are creating life aren't you? Controlling life for a time, molding it into a shape you like and hoping it stays that way.

If coaching a newborn the make certain's values is brainwashing, then i think of you need to develop your perspective. with the aid of fact then, coaching little ones something must be seen brainwashing. although of direction, what you're suggesting is already a exceedingly common technique of elevating little ones. although of direction the 'mom and father' in such circumstances are seen entitled self-absorbed morons and their little ones as brats. as far as strict mom and father, back you need to develop your perspective. There are strict mom and father who tension their ideals onto little ones everywhere. Vegans, protection tension, enterprise, athletes. if you're going to experience sorry for little ones of Christian mom and father in such circumstances, then experience sorry for all little ones in such circumstances. as far as circumcision, it grew to become into first inspired back interior the previous days while hygiene grew to become into an exceedingly foreign places be conscious to maximum individuals. i would not be shocked if back then it surely grew to become into useful, a minimum of marginally. i'm going to agree that it particularly is a variety of issues that desires to catch as much as famous circumstances and only die out.
