did not lie about WMD after all, but was just wrong?

"Three years after the American invasion of Iraq, after endless searches had found no sign of weapons of mass destruction, President Bush still believed that Saddam Hussein had had them. He expressed that conviction repeatedly to his chief of staff, Andrew Card, until Card left the White House in April 2006."

I assume that we want a country with a separation of church and state. Therefore the government must be secular. But in this type of secular government, shouldnt it be survival of the fittest, and natural selection? (darwin)

I have a friend who was stopped for speeding. Unfortunately, he had left his driver's license at home. The law officer took him to the county court house (it was already around 1 a.m.) and into a room where another officer was located. A computer search was made for my friends license, and it was verified that he did indeed have a valid driver's license. But he was then made to pay a fine of $240 right on the spot for "speeding and driving without a license on his person". He was then released to go on his way. It is my belief that my friend was defrauded by these "officers of the law". If you know of or have experienced a similar situation, I would like to know more about it (where, when, etc.). Maybe some information can be gathered to enable real lawmen to forstall these "shakedowns".
Thanks,
Aaron Cooper

This is just stupid. The F-35 is a very capable aircraft, and can play many roles. But the only aircraft that can be an A-10 is, well, and A-10. The A-10 should stay in our arsenal and people need to stop getting stupid. The F-35 can not manuveur like the A-10, and it is too fast for circling the battlefield and tearing apart tanks. They are making a mistake. They are also replacing the F-16 with the F-35. The F-16 is also a very capable aircraft. So what are your thoughts?

Woman should not be exposed to the carnage, gore, death, and maiming, or the countless other disgusting things that occur while in the front lines. I should not be wondering whether or not she is "ready". Hesitate in combat and I guarantee you one thing, a nice bag for your dead body, or the soldier next to you will end up in your bag because of your incompetence. Why put liabilities in the front lines? To fulfill their dreams? To prove that they don't belong there? To get troops killed?

"Paul advocates limited government and low taxes like other Republicans,"

from the news today about his new record breaking fund raising. (hell yea, never has a republican ever raised as much as him in one day.) must be doing something right.

like other republicans? there are no republicans that are supporting limited government anything like Ron Paul. Republican running are like ones in office, pro huge federal government funding; less civil liberty's, less state rights (ex. the drug war, cant even legalize medical mj) high tax's to fund our war machine, and depters. nothing like Ron Paul, its offensive to say like fellow republicans.

"Paul advocates limited government and low taxes like other Republicans, but he stands alone as the only GOP presidential candidate opposed to the Iraq war. He also has opposed Bush administration security measures that he says encroach on civil liberties."

oh and if you don't know about Ron Paul please youtube him.
