What to do? First off I'd look to the legitemacy of that statistic. Do you really think that is an accurate statistic? How did the questioner obtain an unbiased sample? Did the researcher have an agenda? Where and how was the sampling done? I've studied research formally and have learned that lots of supposed statistics were not done using valid methodology. I am highly suspect of the legitemacy of this figure. Do you really think a radical Islamic would tell a total stranger that they wanted to destroy the US? If they were in the US and had that goal they would be unlikely to give themselves away to a total stranger which would increase their likelihood of arrest. That's why I suspect the legitemacy of this figure.
