NO!!!!!

Theoretically, "pure" Christianity has been compared to being "pure" communism, where everyone is equal, everyone works towards the common good, etc.... the true ideal. However, since humans are not perfect, this system cannot ever work.

Communism as it has existed "on earth" is wrought with actual IN-equality, rampant corruption, bribery, black-markets, shortages, etc. etc. Why? Because humans are greedy, and "pure" communism is based on humans being totally opposite of that basic characteristic.

Have a right-wing day.

No form of government is perfect, each has it's pros/cons.

But... No.

My wife is from Romania, which was formerly a communist country. While communism isn't hopeless, it is definitely one of those things that sounds great in theory but not so great in practice. I know my wife still misses her home, but it isn't for reasons related to communism. I think that even she would prefer other forms of government, whether it be America's form of democracy or not.

For everyone claiming any of our politicians will soon lead us into a communist country or that we are already a communist country need to do a lot more research on the subject. Despite our systems faults and our current struggles/issues, we are far from communism.

Even if things do transform more towards communism, ultimately we can only blame ourselves because it was our poor decision making/voting that lead us there. I dislike Bush and didn't vote for him, but WE (including myself) put him in power (TWICE). WE as American's failed to make the larger effort of educating ourselves on the issues and the candidates before submitting that ballot. We allowed the media to shape our opinions. Therefore, we all must take responsibility for the path our country and our government has followed.

No, but at the rate we're going, this present administration is selling us to the largest Communist country in the world, one dollar at a time. Communist China has a reason for buying American dollars and it's not for the monetary value of the day.

No, of course not. Anyone who is hysterical and ill informed enough to believe we could possibly become a communist country needs their head examined. Or maybe a basic political science class. When those Republicans sell fear, they really sell it from the bottom of the barrel.

Actually, Eugene Debs, the communist candidate, almost won the nomination for president around the turn of the century and there was a huge pupulist movement around at the time...
I wouldn't say Communist, but "Socialist" might be nice.

Depends on what type of communism you espouse I suppose.
Sure, I'd be willing.
I'm more of a democratic socialist, but have been intrigued with the CPUSA's stances on some issues before.

Look at bush
Look at the welfare hand outs
Look the free health care for children.
Look at the tax system.
Look at the free hand outs to illegals
Just like communism, The worker is keeping less & less of his money because it's handed out to lazy a** people.
