Is there anyway the Army/military can do an extensive background check and let me join?

I know it's mandatory to have a green card to join, but if there's any exception to that, please let me know, thanks

For my Government class, I need to make up a bill relating to national defense and I'm not sure where to start. Anyone have any ideas? Just like a title and a few provisions of the bill.

Christians are so strongly against gay marriage, but are silent on divorce and re-marriage. Christ spoke specifically that re-marriage is adultery (Mathew 5:31) but he says not one word about gays.

Shouldn’t the religious conservatives be pushing for a constitutional amendment?

Rudy Giuliani doesn't have any real support, just people who say that they would reluctantly vote for him to keep Hillary from winning.

So how is Giuliani the "frontrunner"? again? Which straw poll did he win?

I have a lot of trouble believing that he is the conservatives' choice for the GOP nomination.

I got a ticket for going 86 in a 65mph zone. I heard if you are going a certain amount over the speed limit you can't clear it with traffic school and it stays on your record for a while and thus would raise car insurance.

I've been searching the internet but can't find this anywhere, is it even true and if so would I be able to take traffic school to clear mine or was I going too much over? I'm sure it will say when I get the ticket fine mailed to me but this just happened the other day and I want to know now.

It was in Santa Barbara, CA if that makes any difference, not sure if theres a national/state/county rule on this. Thanks

When Yahoo sends someone a violation notice, don't you think they should also tell that person what rule it was that they supposedly violated?

The Democratic National Committee has told the Florida voters that their delegates will not be welcome to come to the national nomination meeting. If the Florida delegates do show up, the committee will not accept their votes. The DNC is telling the Florida voters "you do not have the right to vote when you want, if you don't vote when we say, your votes won't be counted". Now who is suppressing votes from registered voters?

I just wanted to know if it's possible that I could get my philippine passport renewal expedited since it's about to expire on november 7 and my flight is scheduled on december 16.

And does anybody know how long the process would take if I send my application through mail? I live in Jacksonville, Florida and I'm planning to send it to the Philippine embassy in Washington through snail mail.

The fact that the U.S. signed and largely orchestrated International treaties that banned the use of torture for prisoners of war was something I always felt so proud of as an American.

That we would never lower ourselves to the tactics of the enemy was highly honorable and respectable.

Why are Americans allowing this abomination?

We are better than this!

Monarchy is associated with Nepal's identity, history, culture and national independence. A proxy war is being fought in Nepal to get rid of this important institution and colonise Nepal as part of India. Nepal's hydropower, Himalayas and its strategic location to contain China are the motivating factors.
