When Yahoo sends someone a violation notice, don't you think they should also tell that person what rule it was that they supposedly violated?

I have challenged them several times but Yahoo still refuses to tell me which rule/rules I supposedly broke. They simply stated that they would only release that information to law enforcement personnel only.

It will be either in reference to community guidelines, or TOS, terms of service. After reading both. If you feel that you haven't violated either one, you can send a response back, challenging the violation.
Edit. FYI. Posting a statement with a question mark after it, does not make it a question. This is a violation, if someone wanted to report it.

I agree with you completely on this.
The least they should do is tell us WHY we broke their rules, as well as which ones

I think that would be a great idea. You should put that on their suggestion page. "Tell us what you think"

It could be titled "YA! Due Process."
