because they know that the people don't want to spend for the war no more..they believe that will get them elected or nominated..but they fail to realize that the people will actually HOLD THEM to that promise not to spend
because we all know they'll still spend even if we keep telling them not to.

while bridges crumble here and infrastructure deteriorates, and people get poorer and more are uninsured and out on the streets and losing their homes - we are wasting a monumental amount of money in iraq on people who hate our guts.
it's the number one morality issue of the upcoming election.
