Blacks aren’t supposed to stray from what the liberal party line says is good for black folks. What’s good for black folks, according to liberals, is the perpetuation of Victimhood. Teach the black man that he cannot help himself and encourage him to rely on his “betters” (liberals) to guide him.

Having an opinion contrary to this will earn you the title of "Uncle Tom" or worse

take military or law enforcement entrance requirements, for example. a man must do roughly 30 pushups, 40 situps and a 1.5 mile run in under 12.5 mins. a woman has to do half of that. and this isnt the only example of the double standard that goes on in the name of equal rights. and yet, if you call the police and a woman shows up, you cant request a cop that can actually do the job. how in the hell did a double standard become the norm in equal rights. equal rights arent very equal at all, it would seem

As I said this would take fine tuning, but this is the idea. We have x number of weapons like vehicles. They all have a number even weapon's. The manufacture fires one bullet from each and does a ballistic, then files it. The weapon is shipped to a dealer and this weapon is again fired and ballistics done. It shows a track from A to Z. The new owner gets a regtration just like a car. So in the end if a body showes up with a bullet, police have a good starting point. Should the weapon be sold or a barrel change then it has to be recorded. So should after a lot of fine tuning could this work? It would provide jobs to input data, research, and yes upset many gun owners but it would also reduce some bad headaches. The police do a great job but it would help them as well. Now does a private frim take it on or should th gove get into the act? Your thoughts good, bad or indifrent.

2 days ago my 2 sons aged 13 and 14 were walking home from school with 3 other boys, my eldest son found a pair of scissors on ground and was messing with them, when one of the boys asked him for them and put them up to one of the other boys face he did not hurt him, anyway my boys ran when they saw this. today when they came out of school and 2 adults were taking pictures of them it could not be to identify them because all boys were from same school. I phoned police and they told me to ask them why they were taking pics. I did not think this was the right advice. I am worried now and scared to send kids to school. I might add that my 13 yr old is autistic.

Do I have a case?

Yet Limbaugh's "rant,'' as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called it this week, certainly sounded like a slap at "phony soldiers'' protesting the war -- and Limbaugh went on to expand his roster of "genuine phony soldiers'' on his show Friday, adding Rep. Jack Murtha of Pennsylania, a retired Marine colonel and decorated Vietnam veteran who opposes the war in Iraq.

Limbaugh maintains it is his critics who owe veterans an apology for misconstruing his remarks. Critics are pressing Limbaugh for the same.

"This is not just the anatomy of a smear,'' Limbaugh complained on his program yesterday. "There's much more going on with this than just smearing me. There is an attempt, I think, as they have done throughout my career, to discredit me.''

VoteVets.org, a group of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, is launching a modest run of TV ads -- there's only $60,000 behind an overall TV and radio buy, which won't corner much cable time. The group says it will air a radio version of the ad during the Rush Limbaugh Show in the Washington, DC., market and and in his home market of Palm Beach, Florida.

The ad features Brian McGough of Washington, who was wounded by shrapnel in an enemy's explosion. McGough received the Purple Heart for his traumatic brain injury.

"More and more troops and veterans of Iraq believe George Bush's military policy has been a disaster...I am one of them,'' McGough says in the ad, facing the camera with stern words for the radio commentator. "Rush Limbaugh called vets like me "phony soldiers" for telling the truth about Iraq.

"Rush, the shrapnel I took to my head was real,'' he continues. "My traumatic brain injury was real. And, my belief that we are on the wrong course in Iraq is real. Until you have the guts to call me a "phony solider" to my face, stop telling lies about my service."

The ad closes with the comment: "Tell Rush Limbaugh to stop insulting our troops and veterans.''

Jon Soltz, an Iraq war Veteran and chairman of VoteVets.org, says: "Maybe Rush Limbaugh and his ilk haven't heard, but there's a new sheriff in town - America's troops and veterans, who are not going to sit idle while people like Rush demean the service of those who oppose the President's failed policy in Iraq.

"Maybe Rush got away with smears like this in the past, but he's not going to on our watch,'' Soltz says. "There's nothing phony about those who chose to wear the uniform and fight. And someone like Rush Limbaugh, who avoided service, is the one of the least qualified people on the face of the earth to pass judgment on us."

Sen. Barack Obama said Friday the fact he is viewed as a legitimate presidential candidate is testament to the progress America has made on race relations.

Denying that progress would "dishonor the memories of all those who fought for our civil rights throughout the generations," said Obama, the only African-American candidate running for the presidential nomination.

We'd fight and die for our country. We do it every day. If a terrorist were to attack my lib neighbor, despite how much I dislike my lib neighbor, I'd put a bullet between the eyes of the terrorist. All I'd want in return is a "Thanks".
America isn't perfect. Libs make a few claims that are correct, but most are baseless and far out. There's cons that make some pretty far out statements too, but overall, I like my side better, because we'd NEVER tear this great (but imperfect) country down!

Utah payday lenders began refusing Monday to make loans to members of the military rather than give them much lower rates mandated by a new federal law.
That new law, which took effect Monday, caps the annual interest on payday, car title or tax refund anticipation loans at 36 percent annually for members of the military and their families. A 2005 Deseret Morning News series found payday loans here averaged a whopping 521 percent interest, and car title loans averaged 300 percent.

For five years, Yale Law School has fought to restrict military recruiters from its job fairs because of the Pentagon’s policy that bars openly gay or bisexual people from the military. But with the federal government threatening to withhold $350 million in grants if the university does not assist the recruiters, that fight will all but end on Monday.

After an appeals court ruled in favor of the Defense Department on Sept. 17, the law school said it would allow recruiters from the Air Force and Navy to participate in a university-sponsored job interview program for law students on Monday afternoon. For now, the legal battle to stop the recruiters is over, said Robert A. Burt, a Yale law professor and the lead plaintiff in the case.
