2 days ago my 2 sons aged 13 and 14 were walking home from school with 3 other boys, my eldest son found a pair of scissors on ground and was messing with them, when one of the boys asked him for them and put them up to one of the other boys face he did not hurt him, anyway my boys ran when they saw this. today when they came out of school and 2 adults were taking pictures of them it could not be to identify them because all boys were from same school. I phoned police and they told me to ask them why they were taking pics. I did not think this was the right advice. I am worried now and scared to send kids to school. I might add that my 13 yr old is autistic.

I also have 7 yr old and do not drive, so taking them and picking them up just cannot be done.

Debbie Y you need counselling My son is on the higher end of spectrum and is not entitled to transport I cannot physically be in 2 places at once and he is with his older brother not on his own. Your mother was extremely nasty to you but you cannot in turn take it out on others. If you have any good suggestions how I can get 3 children to school and home again I am all ears. By the way we are in the UK.

As one of the poster said you should contact your local law about it. Also take along on of those throw away cameras and take a picture of them. They just might be someone of interest and God for bid something did happen you would have a picture to begin with. If the person(s) ask you why you took there picture answer with a like question why are you taken pictures of my son and his friends. Just don't let out to much until you need to.

All i think of this youngster desires is a severe communicate. If he's appearing stupid punish him for his movements. that's how my father and mom raised me and that i grew to become out in basic terms nice. desire each thing seems ok and carry close in there!

You're a parent & you're asking this question? What's wrong with you? Why do you allow them to walk alone? And your 13 year old is autistic? Sexual predators love parents like you. You make kidnapping a child so easy for them. Your children are innocent now. But that can change in the few seconds it takes for a van door to slide open. I usually try not to be abusive. But, you remind me of a woman I knew. She was cold hearted, neglectful, & she would've aborted me if she could have. She was my mother. Most parents need to lighten up. You need to TIGHTEN up, now before you lose those 2 miracles. Good Luck & Blessings, & Prayers for all of you!

It's not illegal to take pictures of others in a public place. Asking them about it is pretty much the only thing you can do. Was this a one time thing or have they been seen hanging around the school before?

Depending on the state, there may be laws permitting this sort of activity. In California, this activity may be covered under section 647.6(a)(1) PC:

647.6. (a) (1) Every person who annoys or molests any child under 18 years of age shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000), by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by both the fine and imprisonment.

Contact your local law enforcement agency and advise them of whats going on. Request they send someone to contact thsi individual. Often times the subject will cease their activity once they know law enforcement is watching them and aware of what they're doing.

Hops this helps.
