take military or law enforcement entrance requirements, for example. a man must do roughly 30 pushups, 40 situps and a 1.5 mile run in under 12.5 mins. a woman has to do half of that. and this isnt the only example of the double standard that goes on in the name of equal rights. and yet, if you call the police and a woman shows up, you cant request a cop that can actually do the job. how in the hell did a double standard become the norm in equal rights. equal rights arent very equal at all, it would seem

equal rights is a joke any more. women, minority's; they don't want equal rights they want special rights. and before i get negative response to this i know its not all of them. most would be happy with true equal rights, but you don't here them complaining about it, you only hear about the people looking for more. and while that is a small percentage, they are loud about it. we have gone full circle as a society, the white male is now the most discriminated person.

That's true because its a fact that women don't have the same upper body strength of a man (well most of us anyway). We have shorter and less muscular legs, so we can not always run as fast. But, we need women officers. Especially since there have been a lot of male police officers in trouble for propositioning women.
I agree that women should meet the same requirements as a man to be a solider because if they are in a war, the enemy is not going to stop and say well lets take it easy on her, we won't fight as hard because she is a female.
And if men where the only ones being shafted why is it that women still make less money than a man for the same job. Why are there mostly white male mangers? Not to mention the country is not flooded with women officers and solders.

Well, they say "all men are created equal" and by men they mean people (there's a lack of equality...), it's not entirely true. Woman are typically physically weaker than men. I'm not putting women down, it's fact. Men don't have breasts, and they choose not to wear makeup. Women don't have a huge Adam's apple. Some things by design beyond our choosing can't be changed. Their is no double standard, we were never created totally equal to start with. Any attempt for the law to even things out is just handicapping the system.
