A court ordered someone I was in an auto accident with to pay for damages to my vehicle. The amount is $7576, and I have never heard anything from him, or received a penny of the settlement yet. I live in Ky, does anyone have any advice on what I can do to get my money out of this man?

It is not my intention to cast Senator Clinton in the role of Honest Abe, but can we hear about policy and platform rather than personality? The way the Bush League is carrying on about unimportant personal traits makes me wonder why they cannot attack her ideas. Are they that good?

I have not asked the question, "Would modern Republicans have been acceptable to Lincoln?" That would be another debate, and I think the answer would be no.

Is Hillary getting a little chummy with George W. Bush? Does this bother you like it does me? Does it bother you that she's basically voted to give everything to Bush what he's asked for? I'm serious about this because, although I like Hillary and respect her alot, I think she's too chummy with him and way too accomodating to corporate special interests. What do you think. I'm particularly asking those who are voting for Hillary. I'm a liberal and this is an honest inquiry.

My ex roomate and I moved in to a place aug 1st. I paid $650 of the deposit and she paid $100, with the agreement she would pay me back.She soon lost her job, but found a pt one, paying min. wage. She was unable to pay her 2nd months rent in full on the first. 2 weeks later the landlord told me it was still unpaid, the total with the late fee was $140. I paid it because I wanted it taken care of. My roomate and I had other problems too, and I called her and said one of us needs to move out. Since she had virtually no income , she said she would. I said she could have 30 days , but she said no, that she would be out on the 20th of that month, which she was. Most of her belongings are still here. She will not answer my calls, texts or emails. I have moved her stuff to the screened in porch, since I have a new person moving in. I want her stuff gone , and the money she owes me for past bills and such. What should I do?

All of the opponents of public health care condemn it as Socialist, and insist it will be the first step on the slippery slope to a Communist takeover. Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Denmark, Dweden, Norway and Finland all have been using public health care for more than half a century. Let's just assume for sake of arguement its costing 1 billion dollars a day, and that 3% profit is 3 million (cause not all of that 1 billion goes to contractors).

Let's assume that this war in Iraq and the occupation are illegal and only done so that government can fund these contractor projects.

We've lost 4000 soliders or will by end of 2007.

How about instead of these illegal wars and occupations of other countries, the politicans can have 30-40 million dollars a day,

they can give this money to their friends,

This not only saves US taxpayers about 960-970 million dollars a day, but we'll not have to lose any US soliders.

What do you think.

Independent. At least I wouldn't have half of the country hating me.

Improve the tax system and make it easier for those working themselves half to death for the little wages they earn as well as taking a "fair" share from the rich people so it all evens out. the idea is to impose smaller taxes on the non-rich people and higher on the rich, not the other way around.

Make health care available to all who require it and make it less of a bureaucracy. Would you like it if you were in desparate need for some medicine, but they force you to fill out a inch-thick form just to get it?

Straighten out the justice system. You've heard of Paris Hilton, right?. I don't give a darn if you are the Queen of England. You break the law. You pay the price. And any attempt to use money or fame to sway the justice system will result in EXTRA time. We all know that most citizens deserve to have their identities stolen, pay more taxes than aliens, pay for auto insurance, and of course be tasered for pretty much no reason at all. I spent nearly an hour the other day watching numerous video clips of cops tasing people. My fav is still the "Don't tase me, bro" incident at the John Kerry speech.

I'm all about cracking down on police brutality and abuse of power. But this whole tasing thing is a total riot!!
