Yes, the bank will not do anything because it wasn't there fault. Nifty how that works huh? You do have to take it up with Burger King, but since the manager isn't working with you, when it was an obvious error, you have to go higher up. Go on the Burger King website and contact Customer Service. Explain the situation and go from there. Usually people from corporate are alot easier to deal with and more "customer orientated." You may also want to lodge a complaint on the manager that wouldn't help you out.

Good luck and I hope everything works out!

First, go in person to the Burger King and speak with the manager. Tell him if he doesn't refund your credit card you will take it to the Better Business Bureau. If he is from this country or has half a brain, he will go ahead and refund your card.

If not, make a claim to your CC company.

Call your bank and inform them. You wont get cash back but you will get your account credited. That is why the manager didnt give you your money back. Burger king will refund the money through your bank. Keep the reciepts.

Call your bank, and ask to speak to their fraud department. Tell them what happened. They'll help you dispute the charge -- when that happens, Burger King will be told they'll have to prove definitively that you authorized the second charge. Since they can't, you'll get your money back.

Start by contacting your bank. They can walk you through the process of challenging the validity of the charge.
