Independent. At least I wouldn't have half of the country hating me.

Improve the tax system and make it easier for those working themselves half to death for the little wages they earn as well as taking a "fair" share from the rich people so it all evens out. the idea is to impose smaller taxes on the non-rich people and higher on the rich, not the other way around.

Make health care available to all who require it and make it less of a bureaucracy. Would you like it if you were in desparate need for some medicine, but they force you to fill out a inch-thick form just to get it?

Straighten out the justice system. You've heard of Paris Hilton, right?. I don't give a darn if you are the Queen of England. You break the law. You pay the price. And any attempt to use money or fame to sway the justice system will result in EXTRA time. Also, I want to send a message to all the criminals and those that disrespect the law that crime will not be tolerated. Child abusers will be (cont)

immediately brought to justice and their children taken away. Anyone who drive drunk will find themselves in jail right away. Murderers, Drug dealers, gang, and mob members of any kind will receive nothing less than life or death sentences. Robbers will pay TWICE what they stole (and likely end up in prison, depending on the nature of the crime). Illegal immigrants will be denied amnesty of any kind and promptly hunted down and deported along with their children.

NO AMNESTY! Illegals broke our law. Why should we reward them for doing so?

I will do my best to end the war as soon as possible and bring the troops home. If we bring the troops home before the war, we’re only allowing the terrorist groups to re-grow and threaten the world again. I can’t allow that to happen and I’m sure you understand. The main purpose of the war is to root out all the terrorists and bring them to justice.

the health system and in the future, open the door to many kinds of cancer treatments and better health.

I will cut bureaucracy down to size. It makes no sense to fill out an inch-thick form just for a bottle of medicine, or for applying for a new job for that matter. And why should people go through a dozen tests just to get a driver’s license, when just a written test and a driving test could suffice.

why impose penalties for wealth? be careful, my friend, too often people let their hearts get carried away with wanting to help the downtrodden and do so by removing the agency from those who have the accountability and responsibility to do so. There is no battlefield like politics in the continuation of the war for agency and freedom.

We have little to agree about, except for the justice system.

Everyone should be taxed the same rate. No exceptions rich or poor. Why punish those who produce and give it to those who consume? The rich make money, live well, invest their money in jobs for other people who make money, making the rich more money. Not a problem for me. The problem is when they are treated differently than everyone else.

Health care is not a right under the Constitution. If you want to have "free" health care, then make it happen under your State and not force it on me. If I don't want to pay the exorbitant taxes to get substandard health care, then I can leave the State and go to another. I fear Queen Hillary will get her way and we all, except for the rich and politicians, will get infrequent and poor health care, just like in all the other "free" healthcare countries. If I am in need of emergency health care, I have insurance. If I am poor, I may not get a car or a TV, but I could still get health care.

Justice serves two purposes. One, it keeps society safe. The other, it provides a way for the criminal to repent and change his life and pay the price for his sins. Today, we just have cesspools we throw people in to and then hire other criminals to sell them drugs and favors and keep them behind bars.

Its a very good idea but you left out a couple of things like protecting the rain forest from being cut down from jerks any body caught cutting down a tree(s) will have to pay to how old the trees were and any body who lets their dog rome around will receive first a warning then if it happens again they have to pay a fine but it happens a 3rd time your dog will be taken away from you and if you bring your dog to the store on a hot summer day you will be put in the car with a coat on for the amount of time you were in the store so they can feel what the dog was feeling in that heat. But I could go on and on about saving animals from extinction and animal cruelty these are just some of my ideas

Well, you are already spouting typical politician rhetoric:

"It makes no sense to fill out an inch-thick form just for a bottle of medicine, or for applying for a new job for that matter. And why should people go through a dozen tests just to get a driver’s license, when just a written test and a driving test could suffice."

Not one single thing you said there is true.

You do NOT have to fill out an inch thick form to get a prescription...in fact, I have never filled out ANY form!! The doctor orders the prescription and I pick it up. It's VERY easy, in fact. (Perhaps you refer to the Medicare drug benefit...yeah, a pain in the *** I'm sure...but it's still not an inch-thick form.)

And I have NO IDEA where you live...but in my state, a new driver takes ONE driving test and ONE written test. If you are already licensed in another state, then you take ONE written test. THAT'S IT!! (Gee, just as you demanded.)

I can't stand any politician who lies to me so blatently. Congratualtions, you just lost my vote.

Otherwise, as an independant myself...I agree with about half of what you proposed. Not good enough, really.

Perfect! I agree with stem cell research also! Health care is a huge issue that needs to be dealt with also. I loved everything, maybe one day you really will run and if so best of luck!

sounds like the same nonsense everyone runs on...... its easy to make big statements.. like straighten out the justice system or make health care available to all who require it..
its harder to actually do it.. create fair taxes...

how would you pay for health care and who exactly needs it? who are the rich and how much should they pay? who decides who is a criminal? who pays for all these people in jail?

its easy to be critical.. its hard to make it happen.

I'd say you sound better than most (if not all) of the people currently running.

Though I'd like to hear your view about the electoral college before placing my vote. Should it stay or go? I need to know if my vote's going to actually count in future elections...

You plan about oppressing the rich stinks and will ruin the economy. Your health care won't work, either.
