We bought 5 acres in Alabama. However, it will be two years before we start building a house as my husband just accepted work overseas. For some reason the people living to the right of us have cleared out almost an entire acre OF OUR LAND with what appears to be the intent to plant vegetation on it. I was told that if they fence that area in after a certain amount of time they can legally claim that land. What steps can I take to ensure this does not happen. Do I send them a copy of the survey of the land? Do I have a lawyer draft a letter? Do I have the sheriff's office contact them? I do want it in writing that they acknowledge that that is NOT their land. And if I want to make the land a "no trespassing area" do I just put up signs or do I need to have that in writing also? I think this is the most ridiculous law I have EVER heard of.

A poem titled, "Being Black In The Workplace" was posted on the wall in an office that everyone uses here at my job. There is no other literature on that wall or any other wall in the place. Is this racism?

Hello, I just received my HS diploma. I came across the Navy Reserves and something deep inside me felt triggered.

I have talked to a Navy recruiter.
I still seem to have some questions, and in respect to the recruiter and his job, I cannot trust his words with my life especially when signing a 6-year reserve contract

-How certain is it that you will be training for/entering the Rate you received before you do the big sign-up?

-After bootcamp the waiting period before you start you're Rate school training, I have heard 2-weeks and then some people waiting a while because there are no slots available to them for their specific rate school?

I am in for the experience, training and honor but the money is defiantly considered for a fresh HS grad. I still can't seem to calculate the payrate I will receive? 160$ a month? -taxes/gas?

Also the recruiter enjoyed mentioning I will simply receive 20k for just signing up, read the fine lines -UP TO 20k. How true is this really?

Thanks

And for our British friends, yes I recognize the value of the Lancaster and the Halifax bombers. The Stirling made a pretty good glider tug.

B-24 carried a bigger bomb load, was a tad faster and had more range. It was heavy on the controls, armed to the teeth and saw action in every theater of operations in World War II.

B-24 crews are loyal to their airplane.

B-17 was prettier, flew higher, and could take an incredible amount of punishment and still come home. It is the bomber we associate with the Eighth Air Force. Crews were extremely loyal to this aircraft.

More B-24s were built. The B-24 was a newer design, designed to exceed B-17 capabilities. It is generally recognized that bombing was one of the main reasons Germany was defeated in World War II. B-24s also bombed Japan.

Which one do you love?

It has always been said that the south will rise again. Do you think that we may actually see it in our lifetime. One can only hope.

My ex-husband signed a hodge-podge contract with me promising to continue promoting our music business and professional and personal services of video editing. He has done none of this. In fact, he said during a deposition that he never had any intention of fulfilling the terms of the contract. Yet he signed it and there is a damage clause of $12,000 a year until the year 2060 to be paid to me. How can this be settled? Can he be sued for fraud?

Can anyone explain to me, in simple language, the constitutional basis for traffic infractions in California? Specifically, I am looking for a justification of why certain rights, like for example the right to a trial by jury, are not applicable. I know the penalties are limited but I don't understand what that has to do with it.

WHEN EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THE ONLY REASONS WHY IT IS THERE ARE

2. TO ESTABLISH MILITARY
