if a bunch of white kids had stomped a black kid nearly to death and got sentenced to 22 years, would je$$e jack$on have gone down to jena and complained how 22 years isn't enough, instead of complaining how 22 years is too much for a black kid who was part of a group who stomped a white kid nearly to death?

Or the Irish who were treated just as bad if not worse than Blacks. They came here after slavery as did most of ever other immagrant that is classified as "white" but in fact were minorities and treated like outcasts of society.

i had a fantastic job, one that i will never find again w/ no college education. $25.00/ hr. My ex got me fired yesterday. We had e-mail accounts for work related issues. A business message was sent to everyone. My ex was on my e-mail account, from home, because he had gotten into my personal stuff and had got ahold of my password. He selected the "reply to all" icon and wrote a message- something like: this place really sucks, they need to get there heads out of there a----. And then it was recieved all over the united states, to every employee, even corporate. They terminated me the minute i arrived. I told them that my ex- boyfriend had gotten into my Email and sent this ( i have recordings of him saying he hopes i like my job and my life because he's going to end them). They said I should have not let him get ahold of my password! i now have a message from him admitting to what he did. Do i have any way to fight for my job, or charges i can file against him?

I don't quite understand the whole copyright laws for mp3s. I understand if music under copyright laws is distributed, then the person distirbuting it can get in trouble. But what if you get mp3s from a file-sharing site and don't distribute them, can you still get in trouble?

My last day was a month ago (I quit)...I still haven't seen my final pay check. The law says I have to get it within 7 days. But is it my responsibility to pick it up, or theirs to mail it? I don't have time to go all the way there to get it, nor do I want to...they caused me so much stress and aggravation I'm likely to punch someone out there.

If people say we cannot "police the world" how is it that the very same people justify the massive influx of illegal immigrans from Mexico and other countries. They justify it as saying it is our duty as a rich nation to help impoverished nations... I'm not a neo-con so nobody please use that word it's such a stupid word. I'm a libertarian who believes in ending the Iraq war and securing our borders. If someone says we can't police the world, at least be consistent?

Bush is willing to compromise on the difference in the increase he wants for S-chip and what congress wants. But, congress isn't talking to him. Instead, the Democrats are all over the newsw about how Bush is an uncaring SOB who don't give a hoot about children's health.
All Bush wants to do is knock off all the adults on S-chip and put them on Medicaid.
What is the problem with that?

Newark, New Jersey
A white kid was being made fum of at school by a group of Black kids. They were calling him cracker and honkey. He gets fed up and calls the main kid a racist ni' ' er back.

He gets suspeneded from school and nothing is done to the black kids.

Both are wrong here so why would the white kid be the only one punished when he said something in the defensive?

They both should be punished and both should have learned a lesson about racism but instead the white kid was punished.

What do you think?

just tricking voters that normally wouldn't vote for them to win elections.
Examples, like religion, flag burning, against gays, political correctness, Texas tough guy military talk, ( bring em on, dead or alive, mission accomplished ) less government, even sending you $300.00 tax rebate if you elect them,( remember 2000 election) These prostitutes are for the rich, I don't mean 100k couples who are being tricked into voting for them, I mean mega rich. But hay, its your reality, pick your poison.

so she lied. So Bush lied. well at least she wasn't responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of US troops and nearly a million INNOCENT Iraqis.

so just hush and stop making a big deal about nothing. ALL of these athletes lie and all of them are doping.
They certainly have a great role model.

Or is this one of those "personal responsibility" issues where the smart consumer relies on their own bacterial cultures before eating instead of that nanny-state USDA?

""2005 "Risk based Inspections": ""Far from a minor adjustment intended to maximize food safety, this plan is really being used as a way to reduce the USDA’s budget. The changes in the way inspectors are assigned to meat and poultry plants would make current inspector shortages permanent, effectively shrinking the size of the agency’s frontline inspection workforce.""

If Bush was SO SURE this war was necessary, why didn't he reinstate the draft, instead of hiring mercenaries at an extremely lucrative contract? Blackwater has made lots of money and lots of mistakes...they are acting like hired hit men! Seems that Bush continues to make decisions that keep lowering the respect of the US by other countries. His legacy gets worse by the day!
