Who will be America's choice for the next president of the USA?
I'll vote for the woman & hope she'll pick the black man as her running mate. They make the most sense, have the best plans & the most brains.

EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE:
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, D-Ill., said he will no longer wear an American flag lapel pin because it has become a substitute for “true patriotism” since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

He commented on the pin in a television interview Wednesday and then again on Thursday at a campaign appearance in Independence, Iowa.

“My attitude is that I’m less concerned about what you’re wearing on your lapel than what’s in your heart," he told the campaign crowd Thursday. "You show your patriotism by how you treat your fellow Americans, especially those who serve. You show your patriotism by being true to our values and ideals. That’s what we have to lead with is our values and our ideals.”

The Soviet Union was a barbaric, savage and backward edifice that rightly crumbled. It enslaved millions of people many non russians, and many non slavs...all who hated it! It was responsible for more genocide than the Nazis.

And yet the Russian people seem to be backing an aggressive thug like Putin! He is already trying to interfere in Ukraine, Belarus and Central Asia. He has been trying to intimidate Georgia and Estonia, supports Iran, North Korea and Burma, orders opponents killed both within and outside Russia, and backed Serbian genocide. And yet, most Russians love this idiot! Whats wrong with them?

When, in fact, they fully supported his sellout of Czechoslavakia and continued to appease Hitler in every way they could?

Even after the attack on Pearl Harbor, they filibustered against a Declaration of War against Germany until Hitler declared war on the US.

I know he's said he will not do so, but that might not be what's best for himself and the party.
I'm a big Bill Richardson support, but I think that perhaps he'd be better off running for the open senate seat in New Mexico.

1. TOTALLY forget JFK's "Ask NOT what your country can do for you" speech, as that would imply WORKING, and contributing to society.
2. TOTALLY forget Dr. King's "I have a dream" speech, because quotas are all that matter to a neo lib. Except for any minority republicans, they don't count.
3. Abortion on demand!! This comes BEFORE the First Amendment.
4. Complete redistribution of wealth, as the rich can always "pay their fair share"
5. Socialized EVERYTHING!!! medical insurance, then free cars, then free HD TV's.
6. Blame Bush for everything! or Rush, or O'Reilly.
7. Forget they(or rather, the darlings of their party) voted FOR this Iraq war. But that was before they voted against it.
8. Shout down all those they disagree with, in the name of "Fairness", and "tolerance
9.Love terrorists more than their own country.
10. Feel America is the cause of EVERYTHING wrong in the world.

How was that?
Did I miss any?

Thank You as always!!

"The amero would compete against other regional currency blocks," BankIntroductions.com says. "At present, with the Canadian dollar approaching par, more talk for an amero currency unit will become popular in Canada."

The company says that with the successful implementation of NAFTA, "the one dragging component for the amero will be Mexico, but in time this will change."

"Implementation of the amero currency may actually give Mexico an economic boost, thus helping to alleviate Mexican immigration pressures into the United States for those Mexicans seeking financial gain," BankIntroductions.com advises.
The African Union is moving down the path of regional economic integration, with the African Central Bank planning to create the "Gold Mandela" as a single African continental currency by 2010.

The Council on Foreign Relations also has supported regional and global currencies designed to replace nationally issued currencies.

my husband is a mechanic and been in the militiary for 18 years, he is still SSG. we recently got married and i dont know that much about the military life but heard that its not quite "usual" to not have been promoted after serving that long. he said he had alwyas done a great job and loves his work, always have been appreciated by everyone for working so hard and never got in any trouble or anything. now i am not about to dig in his past to see if he ever did anything wrong, but i wonder what could be the reasons of him not being promoted if he did everything right for 18 years?

3 reasons for the Fall of the Roman Empire:

Social- The citizens had no morals and they didn't care about the rest of the country, just what happened to themselves. (NO! Not the Americans!)

Economic- The Empire was drowning in debt, trying to support wars and their Army. (America is not billions of dollars in debt...)

Political- Political leaders were self-seeking and greedy. They wanted their way, or the highway. (That's DEFINATLY not the American leaders!!!)

If America doesn't start doing something now, aren't we going to fall just like the Roman empire did? Thoughts, please?

Obama Won't Wear American Flag Pin
By Steve Nicoles, Reporter
By Mike Wagner

IOWA CITY - Presidential Candidate Barack Obama is trying to change political fashion. He gave a speech in Iowa City Wednesday and he wasn't wearing an American flag pin.

Those pins have become synonymous with politicians since 9-11.

Obama says he doesn't like how the pin has come to represent patriotism in America.

The senator told TV-9, "I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest, instead I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great. Hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."

This was Obama's second visit to Johnson County in as many days.

A man sentenced to prison, for molesting a child, can have his prison time reduced, if he receives a course of "sexual offender treatment".
The attraction, held by a pedophile for a child, is instilled in the pervert at birth, exactly the same way the attraction of a normal man to women, is instilled, or the attraction of a gay man toward other men.
Taking that course, can not change anything in their genetic make up, so the released convict retains his sexual perversions and is still attracted to kids. Chemical castration only works while the drugs are being taken in the prescribed dosage. Prisons are already over-populated, with other criminals.
My question is, without releasing these animals back into society, is there any acceptable recourse, other than surgical castration?
I don't believe there is. Your thoughts?

I know I can be long winded But bear with me.

Ok, I'll be the one to open the can of worms this morning.

I for one agree we have to do something. We do need some kind of health care system to protect and help those who are TRULY in need. We have many elderly who have worked for many decades for very little just to retire and die from something very treatable, along with children dying from various carcinomas and other things.

Everytime you hear the Hillary or any of the others on her bandwagon, speak about how good this program would be, the one thing I NEVER heard or hear is, HOW THE INTEGRITY OF SAID PROGRAM IS GOING TO BE ENFORCED.

Like any other government programs, its subject to abuse. That being said, with the rediculous amout of abuse it will recieve, how effective will it really be and what are the odds that the care will actually get to those who need it and whats the plan to insure that it does?

Right now, I haven't heard a single chirp on this subject.
