The current shape of Iraq was decided by Winston Churchill and the English Parliament so why shouldn't the occupying nation (The US) have some say in the way it is partitioned today?

Iraq MUST be divided based on religious factions and cultures. It worked with India didn't it? Before Pakistan, India was just one giant country with INTENSE violence between Muslims and Hindus. That problem has been diminished drastically (except in Kashmir) due to the fact India and Pakistan became two seperate countries.

If you leave all the Kurds, Suniis, and Shias in the same area for hundreds of more years they are only going to continue killing one another. Another leader like Sadaam will emerge and kill members of the enemy factions. It's the only viable solution!

I like the idea. By the way did you know Iraq was carved out of the Ottoman Empire by the French and British as agreed in the Sykes-Picot Agreement. On 11 November 1920 it became a League of Nations mandate under British control with the name "State of Iraq"?

I think it sounds hauntingly like UN General Assembly Resolution 181 from November 29, 1947. That's how Palestine was carved up after WWII. I think it's a very bad idea to say the least.

We should just leave, stop being an occupying force and let Iraq find its OWN political position.
Back in the day, before the US came to help, Iraq had electricity and water in most of its cities.

Denominations on the instant are many and assorted. the unique “mainline” denominations have spawned multiple offshoots inclusive of Assemblies of God, Christian and Missionary Alliance, Nazarenes, Evangelical unfastened, self sufficient Bible churches, and others. some denominations emphasize gentle doctrinal ameliorations, yet greater commonly they only furnish diverse varieties of worship to greater healthful the differing tastes and alternatives of Christians. yet make no mistake: as believers, we must be of one strategies on the necessities of the religion, yet previous that there is great deal of variety in how Christians ought to worship in a company putting. This variety is what reasons maximum of diverse “flavors” of Christianity. A Presbyterian church in Uganda would have a variety of worship lots diverse from a Presbyterian church in Colorado, yet their doctrinal stand would be, for the main area, the comparable. variety is a solid component, yet disunity isn't. If 2 churches disagree doctrinally, debate and communicate over the observe may well be talked approximately as for. this way of “iron polishing iron” (Proverbs 27:17) is useful to all. in the event that they disagree on type and variety, however, it incredibly is high-quality for them to stay separate. This separation, however, does not carry the duty Christians ought to love one yet another (one million John 4:11-12) and finally be united as one in Christ (John 17:21-22).

Absolutely not.
Partitioning Iraq won't work anyway. Sunnis will be left w/o resources and what to do about Turkey's and Iran's Kurds. That would only mean more trouble for the region.

If the U.S. is going to be expected to clean that mess up, we've got to have a voice in HOW it gets cleaned up.
