Have we gotten a single hurricane worth speaking about in the eastern US this year?

I just sent mine to PA from CA.

I just received an auto-reply confirmation that they received my application. It stated that it takes 10-12 weeks. Whereas, when I emailed NPIC prior to sending it, they said 6-8 weeks. WTF?

I wonder which estimate I should go with? I sent my old passport in along with the application and photos.

Thanks.

(9) Since March 1996, Iraq has systematically sought to deny weapons inspectors from the United Nations Special Commission on Iraq (UNSCOM) access to key facilities and documents, has on several occasions endangered the safe operation of UNSCOM helicopters transporting UNSCOM personnel in Iraq, and has persisted in a pattern of deception and concealment regarding the history of its weapons of mass destruction programs.

(10) On August 5, 1998, Iraq ceased all cooperation with UNSCOM, and subsequently threatened to end long-term monitoring activities by the International Atomic Energy Agency and UNSCOM.

Would this make anyone else suspicious of Hussein's intentions?

The dang thing is short and it is dull to cut plastic. So how did about twenty Arabs pull off 9/11 with nothing else? Anything can be used as a weapon. They proved it. So can we. The corner of your lap top can be used almost like an axe to punch in a skull at the temple. You can slam the heel of Your hand with all Your force straight into his nose. A woman can claw out his eyes, easily with her finger nails. You have teeth, so get the SOB down and forget any reservations bite deep, tear out his juglar and enjoy the taste of his blood. An air plane is full of potential weapons. Get him down by numbers, Then kick, beat and crush him to death.Jump straight up and down on him, slam the heels of your shoes right into his chest, right under the breastbone. These people want war like that, lets give it to them. War to the knife and the hilt of the knife. That is the American way. It is how your ancestors took this country. Who agrees with me?

my employer let me go today. I was only with the firm for 2 months. their bases for letting me go was b/c a security guard from their clients building accused me of a false accusation. He stated that I threw something at him; i denied the claim and requested to review the sureilance tape...they said no. They cherish the client b/c its the firms bread and butter;even though the guard wrks for the management companie not associated directly for the the firms client; my boss didn't want any bad reviews period. that was half the reason and the other was b/c they said I was not progressing, which is bs b/c the other day I was told I was doing good. I want to bring a separate civil suit against the guard for making an outlandish, falsue claim which cost me my job and for slander. sorry for repeating, just want to stated the fact. I'm so pist. advises would be nice.

Why is it that so many young men now days join the military to have them pay for schooling? Then whenever they get called up to be deployed they go to a corner and start sucking their thumbs and crying (I know this to be true because I work with them). It is not like they do not know that there is a war going on when they enlisted. I have the upmost respect for soldiers. My husband is one. But this really bothers me.

I think the most beautifull is the French national anthem " La Marseilliase", and second most the Mexican national anthem "Mexicanos al Grito de Guerra", I will put some links here so you can click, and listen to them, tell me which one you like best out of those two, and which national anthem you think it is the most beautifull to you.

We purchased a used car from a private owner 1.5 months ago. Right after purchasing the car we found the service engine soon light was on, we thought it was just a reminder of routine maintenance and did not pay special attention to it. As we drove the car more we found the gas mileage was awful and sometimes there was problems with starting the engine. So we took the car to auto repair and they detected serious engine problems and said the car was losing power awfully. The total repair would cost round 2000 bucks. They said the previous owner must have known the serious defect and intentionally cheated on us when selling the car by temporarily cutting off the service engine light. Is there any way we can get some of money back? We called the previous owner like crazy but she never answered the phone or got back to our messages. What could we do? Get a lawyer, file small court claims or something else? What’s the chance for us to get some money back? Thanks!

I used to be a very avid supporter of him. I still share his fundamental beliefs about conservatism and patriotism. Like him, I am a conservative first and a Republican second.

However, I've stopped listening to his radio show. I've noticed that his comments toward liberal or other callers who disagree with him have become pretty scathing. Also, while important, the dialogue of his shows doesn't ALWAYS have to involve defending Rudy's and Mitt's record and citing ills against Hillary and Obama. Surely he could highlight more positives within the current conservative movement. Same goes with his TV show, H&C.

Please, give me polite but honest answers. It's not like I'm becoming a lib at all here, but Hannity is REALLY disappointing me more and more (as are Ingraham and Levin, but I still like Rush.)

As a side note, supposedly Hannity's wife has filed to divorce him. That's a shame.

(I know I've already asked this.)
