Is Hillary getting a little chummy with George W. Bush? Does this bother you like it does me? Does it bother you that she's basically voted to give everything to Bush what he's asked for? I'm serious about this because, although I like Hillary, I think she's too chummy with him and way too accomodating to corporate special interests. What do you think. I'm particularly asking those who are voting for Hillary. I'm a liberal and this is an honest inquiry.

I'm really torn about Hillary, too.

I don't like how she became so tied to the war and now is distancing herself from her own position and votes. She's become totally chummy with heathcare companies.

Curiously, and little talked about, as soon as she was elected she joined in on a regular groups of Senators who meet for morning prayer groups. They were kind of stunned and taken aback by here being there but they soon accepted her and now a lot of these arch conservative senate boys will probably be willing to go out on a limb on some issues and support her if she becomes President.

Maybe she's just playing the game the way it has to be played in order to get elected. I'm not sure how much it all matters. But it is really confusing. Its funny how the republicans like to call her a socialist because she certainly is NOT.

Maybe Democrats are as confused by her as Republicans are confused by Giuliani.

I see Hillary and Bush as 2 sides of the same cloth.
Yes, Hillary is far to "chummy" with the corporate insterests, which is why she does not have my support. I listen to a number of her speeches and agree with a lot of her viewpoints but I feel she has become part of the Washington "Elite" and no longer has the concern of the population in her best interest.

That is why Obama has my support and my vote.

Well, my opinion probably won't count because I've never leaned towards Hillary and have questioned that she's even a Democrat. The only difference is that I don't get as many thumbs-down now as when I was saying it back in July.

That said... Yes, I've noticed she's been a bit chummier with Bush... for his part, he seems to think she'll get the Dem nomination. For her part, I think she's easing herself in a more moderate stand on the war in an effort to appeal to moderate Dems and Reps, including Reps. that are fed up with the past eight years of their party.

I think that the reason why she voted to send troops to Iraq is because it was the popular thing to do at the time and she didn't want to jeopardize her political career. I also think that she's gotten chummy with special interest groups and corporations, because they have the money that could get her elected. I'm a liberal and I still think she'll do whatever she can to get elected.

That's funny, I'm on the opposite side of the aisle and I agree. Apparently, Bush had a little talk with her, and boy did she change her tune after that. Specifically, she backed down on mandating withdrawal from Iraq (something I don't oppose, but somehow her taking that stance doesn't sit right with me).

Hillary never had a chance of getting my vote, but I do think she's changed in recent days. I think it will hurt her popularity, no one who would vote for her wants to hear we will remain in Iraq.

She and Bush have very similar ideas-theyre both globalists in essence, they just have different ways of achieving the same thing. Its a natural thing, much more natural than Bush and Cheney.

Stayed tuned for more. She has to cozy up to the hard left of her own party until she has the nomination all locked up. Once that happens she won't need them anymore, so she'll start moving right to position herself for middle America in the general election.

You are nuts if you think Bush is more accomodating to corporate special interests than Hillary.

"Accomodating corporate special interests" such as?

"A little chummy" to what degree?

Show your sources for these observations or this is just more clumsy propaganda.
