HAHAHHAHAHA! What I can tell you is all you need to know. He has just as much of a chance as Dennis Kucinich does of winning the Democratic Primary.

I think Mike Huckabee has a real chance at the Republican nomination. He has heartfelt conservative beliefs, unlike Giuliani (who isn’t a conservative) or Romney and Thompson (who don’t actually believe in anything). Governor Huckabee is likeable, qualified and has a compelling personal story. I look for him to parlay a second-place finish in Iowa (behind Romney, who’ll buy himself first) into a spot in the top tier in New Hampshire. He could win in South Carolina if he can put together an organization by then. Anyone who can lose a hundred pounds gets my respect.

He would make Hillary look like the babbling empty headed phoney she really is in any debate. YES he could and would beat Hillary....

Actually, he may be the best positioned to do exactly that.

Huckabee served as governor of Arkansas, and followed Jim Guy Tucker, who went to jail over the Whitewater "event". Tucker himself became governor when Bill (who promised Arkansas voters he would not run for President) was elected President.

I bet he has some charming anecdotes about the transition. One of them would be re-assigning the detail of Arkansas State Troopers whose duty it was to find women for the governor to have sex with. (The existence of which was sworn testimony in the Paula Jones case, and was never even contradicted by Clinton's lawyers).

Huckabee was a decent Governor I guess. What I didn't like about him was his constant pushing for rights of illegal immigrants. He is too conservative for my taste, but then again all of the Democratic candidates are too liberal for me.
