Murtha is the one accusing our soldiers of cold blooded murder. Rush never did that.

No rush did not call Murtha a phony he called The morning update on Wednesday dealt with a soldier, a fake, phony soldier by the name of Jesse MacBeth who never served in Iraq; he was never an Army Ranger. He was drummed out of the military in 44 days. He had his day in court; he never got the Purple Heart as he claimed, and he described all these war atrocities. He became a hero to the anti-war left. Thats who he said was a phony and that person is up for charges..

What he is referring to is the Liberal Democrats are sinking so low they have a group of people on the net saying they are soldiers and they oppose the war. They have never served in the military. Can the Liberals sink any lower then this? And for Harry Reid to have the nerve to question Rush after he tried convincing Americans we have lost this war is flat out disgusting! The only thing the Liberal Democrats are accomplishing is how much they really hate America .If they keep this up they are going to start a civil war in America and being as cowardly as they are they will lose big time

No he probably said that Murtha is a complete jerk for betraying the modern soldier.
When Rush used the phrase phony soldier he meant the man who claimed to be an Iraqi veteran but it turned out that he had washed out of boot camp after one month and had never left the country.
It looks like you liberals will have to manufacture another phony scandal; this one is too ridiculous.
Maybe you could try winning an election or argument based on you ideas. Never mind, I just heard how ludicrous that sounds.

According to the news cast I just saw the solider never made it out of boot camp and was never in Iraq. The report/soldier is nothing more then a left wing democrat tiring to destroy Americans. This boy is a flat out liar. I'm talking about the A**hole who started all this stuff. Democrats will do what ever it takes to win and lieing seems to be at the top of the list. The bad thing about it is people die for these worthless lies.

I don't know! I don't really listen to Rush. I am a conservative. But Rush goes overboard. I recall him saying that it did not matter if the entire Amazon Rainforest was destroyed! I was like: What? Dude! The Amazon provides most of our oxygen! I mean without the rainforest, we could have serious problems on our hands! There are just certain things he says that are pretty radical. Which is why I prefer to listen and watch different programs that make more sense.

Rush was refering to MacBeth, a soldier who claimed that he burned the bodies of Iraqi's, hung them from rafters, et. al...
yet, washed out of boot camp and never served in Iraq. Similar to the winter soldiers of the vietnam era.

Murtha put on a uniform when the country needed him. He may have been afraid, but he went anyway. He didn't have his Daddy pull strings to get him out of Vietnam. Murtha loves his country and is doing the things he thinks is right, not like the right-wing chickenhawks that just want to tear him down because he's standing up for his beliefs.

"where he served as the S-2 intelligence officer for the 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division and received the Bronze Star with Combat "V", two Purple Hearts and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry"
Doesn't sound like he was in the rear for the whole time. Decorated veteran, and the Cons still mock him? Sounds about right to me. They talk about how we need to support the troops then spit in their face.
He put his *** on the line, his country above his own life, and Cons think they can mock his service? Now thats sounds pretty unAmerican to me.
Just wanted to point out, not only was he an intelligence officer in VietNam.. he was also a grunt in Korea... THATS 2 WARS YOU AMERICA HATING CONS!
