No draft will be necessary. All of those democrats who have refused to serve their country will now rush to volunteer just for the honor of serving under the new Commanderette in Chief!

There IS another way, but the American People would be hard pressed to accept, the USA being defended by FOREIGN NATIONALS !!!
I have completed a somewhat extensive study about foreign nationals being a / the major military force, defending this country !!!!!!! I am thinking about becoming an agent, facilitating this matter !!!!
If some politicians will sell out the USA for cash- money, why can't I sell foreign nationals to the military (LEGALLY-LEGALLY !!!!), and garner some more retirement cash ????
With the election of Hillary in November, 2008, between then and January 20, 2009, there WILL BE MASS EXITS OF PERSON EL FROM THE MILITARY FORCES !!!!

A military draft might be the only option regardless of the outcome of the next election.
Unless congress manages to force a withdrawal before the end of Bush's term.
It is starting to seem more and more unlikely that it will happen though - as Jan. '09 gets closer and closer. A full withdrawal, even a relatively hasty one requires moving a lot of equipment - thousands upon thousands of tanks, helicopters, planes, support vehicles, field artillery, not to mention all of the personell, their weapons, equipment, AND even more people and stuff belonging to civilian contractors working in iraq.
Anything that they don't take with them will most likely end up in the hands of militias, as the inevitable brutal civil war that we barely managing to stave off begins in earnest.

I'm not sure how you got from a Hillary "takeover" (although there would still be two other branches of government operating) to a military draft.
What were the steps in between?

If this war leads to further conflict the draft will be the only option regardless of who is president.

It will be great to inoculate some discipline in this generation of arrogant and irresponsible punks. It will show them what really being tough means. Have some goals and direction and really fight for something that's real and worthy. I'm talking about ideals not politics.

If all parents had to worry about their kid being sent to War maybe they would be less likely to approve of foolish military actions.

Don't see why. Different commander in chief but same generals. Maybe more recruits if her election makes more young women feel like enlisting (will she let them join the infantry and other close quarters combat fields?).
Interesting question, but my guess is no.
I go along with those who don't see much difference between her and any of the GOP front runners (especially Rudy).

She realy is no different from Bush in terms of war mongering. A little smarter perhaps, but big deal. She works for the same people he does. Thank god I'm too old.
