I could hardly believe my ears when I heard that Bush was threatening to veto a health care bill with the number of uninsured americans. Can the president really just veto any bill he wants just because it does not get the necessary votes in the house/senate? It doesn't make any sense. SO many americans are without healthcare, and yet the president still threatens to veto a bill that would help them to get it. Mind you I do not know exactly what the bill is about, but I can only assume it must be something that Americans need, as there are so many upset over the planned veto.

I am interested in becoming a puppy raiser for seeing eye dogs, and would like to know what the regulations are at schools for having guide dog puppies on campus. I know that law requires schools to allow fully certified guide dogs on their property, but am not sure what the laws are when the dogs are still in training. I've trained a lot of dogs, and I know that in order for them to become well disciplined, you have to spend as much time as possible with them, and the only way for me to do that would be to bring the pup to school with me. Have any idea what the Ohio laws are for this?

This sounds like it could've happened to anybody? He did not actually solicit sex. He did plead guilty but I have heard the interrogation tapes and it sounds like he really had no choice. The officer was telling him that the easiest way to get out of it without going to court was to plead guilty and pay a fine. Sen. Craig kept telling him that all he wanted to do was use the bathroom. I feel sorry for the guy because now he is being forced to retire! It just sounds ridiculous to me that someone can be arrested for tapping their foot! He wasn't caught in the act afterall. Is this his only incident?

I dont get it. "god bless America and no other land"? It's like a football player scoring a touchdown and prayin. God was on his side, but not the other teams side?

god bless America and no other land. How self righteous is the pledge of Allegiance? pretty darn arrogant if you ask me. But what else would you expect from a bucnh of god fearing folks that kill in gods name.

I really have doubts that she (god) would care who is doing what. but she is probably a little upset that the war mongering, fear mongoring fundies use her name to justify all the killing they do.

The attorney (The best D.U.I. Lwyr in Town) as he was introduced to me by business acquaintance. Gave him my whole schpeel as follows: Met in 11-2001. Talked her into buying a house in 3-2002. Neither one cared for marriage, but she was having Green Card issues. Hell, I loved her, why not? We split all the bills in half the whole time. Married 4-2002. Maybe at the end of 2004 I moved out (been bad for about 7-8 months) into a condo. The whole time split up, still went to I.N.S. Interviews with her, for her Grn Card, cause Im too nice. Pd 189k for house, 2 years later, apprsd. at 365k though she wouldnt buy me out, in fear of me divorcing, and term her Grn Card process. Come to find out around 10-2006 drove by my (our) house to see a 4-sale sign??Told she was denied for G.C., in turn, denied for further Work Permits. Lost job, selling house (her name on title only) attempting to flee back 2 Asia with my half of equity. Hired lwyr to stop actions ASAP against sale of the house.

I have a problem wondering about the paint on the childrens spoons, plates, etc. A problem about what is in the metal of the appliances. Or the non scratch surfaces on no stick pans. Since the are produced with toxic chemicals. And in the plastics. And the non flamable additives in our plastics & clothing.

Don't you think that the US companies having these products made in China be responsible for any possible safety hazards of them? Sort term & long term?

SO I'm really considering going into the Marine Reserves. I actually enlist on Tuesday. I know how hard boot camp is going to be, and I'm preparing myself for the worst. I was told by my recruiter that the reserves will rarely ever go to Iraq or any other war zone, and that being a female, if I do get sent out, I won't even step foot onto the battlefield.

Things that my friends and family have told me:
- If you try to do two different things that two different drill instructors ask you, one of them will put you in a pit for not following THEIR order. And that the pit is filled with fleas and red fire ants.
- I WILL be sent to Iraq and possibly stay for up to 2 years
- I WILL have to go into combat, female or not
- The recruiters feed you a bunch of bullshit and will say anything just to get you to sign the dotted line

I really want to do this, but I want to remain INACTIVE all 4 years that I am enlisted and I do not want to go into combat of any sorts. What should I do?

Whether some of you Republicans want to believe it or not there was a large part of the Democrat party who completely opposed Bill Clinton after he approved NAFTA that GHW Bush implemented and also wanted him impeached after it was proved that he perjured himself and that he infringed on the constitution with warrantless search and seizures!!!!!!

When will more of you realize that what this administration is doing is wrong and dangerous for several different reasons.

1. Breaking International treaties!
2. Infringing on the constitution with warrantless foreign and DOMESTIC wiretapping programs!
3. Invading Iraq without approval of the United Nations....while at the same time using the United Nations Iraqi resolutions as a reason for the invasion. So is the U.N. relevant or only when you want it to be?
4. Purposefully outing a CIA officer. How many other officers were jeopardized because of this?

This is just off the top of my head.

Which is more important here?

And then give further power to them to dictate what is in your best intrests medically.... Unless you are a suspected terrorist... which one allows greater access to your personal and private information? Even if you are a suspected terrorist or even if that evil Bush administration tapped your line illegally (not that they care to, stop the paranoia).... would you rather the government know what you talked about on the phone in the last week or all of your personal health details?

This was on craigslist and I thought I would be noisy to see if these things happen in the miltary to our soldiers


My Question is a Rant/Question:
My Cousin was in the Army for 3 Years and Died over In I think it was Boquba Iraq this past Feb. (Age 22) My Auntie received a Bill Last week August 25 2007 addressed to him stating that he owes DFAS (some military place I guess) $1,987.73 for not returning an issued item back in which was the Kevlar Helmet and the Armored vest that he was wearing when he died. Well actually I cant say if this is what he was wearing at the time or if it was something that was left in his tent while he might have worn a 2nd Issue of Gear.

DFAS some place in St Louis..

I just wrote the biggest letter in my Life to them.
