It's not likely that the court will suspend or revoke your license over one speeding ticket unless you were doing some reckless driving - 15 mph over the limit, for instance.
However, your insurance rates will go up a lot, and your parents may well decide to take your keys away.

If you get three in some states you do lose your license until your are 18 and have to take the tests all over again. One ticket will cause your insurance to skyrocket. Your mom doesn't want to have to pay $1600 a year for insurance for you acting like a jackass possibly killing yourself and others, and I do not blame her. Drive responsibly.

You could if the speed is high enough to be considered reckless operation. 20 mph over may be considered depending on the judge. Usually two speeding violations will get you suspended until you are 18.

depends on how fast you were going when you got the speeding ticket, more than likely you will have to go to a driving class, pay a fine and go to court. im in KY and the only way you can lose your licenses for just speeding is if you were driving recklessly and going over 15mph over the speedlimit [something like that] another way to lose your licenses would be if you had been or where drinking, had drugs in your vehicle or etc. etc.
dont worry, you should be fine :)

It depends how much over the speed limit you are going. If its 10-15 over you will probably just get a fine, but any more than that and I would be very careful.

My brother lost his license until he was 21, and that was before he even got his license (I think he was 14 or 15), because of driving without a license and speeding. That was in Kansas, but I'm sure the laws aren't too different in that respect in most states.

I don't think you get your license taken, you just get points added to your license. And if you reach a certain amount of points on your license, then you get it suspended for aa certain amount of time. You're answer should be at the bottom under: Penalties for traffic violations and other offenses

In most cases it depends on other circumstances. Such as were you speeding in a residencial area, and how far over the limit were you. Do you have insurance? And were you skipping school at the time? I understand that in Ohio it is also illegal to talk on your cell phone while driving unless it's hands free.

I think that a punishment like that is reserved for people who are convicted of reckless driving, drunk driving, or repeated tickets and not paying fines, etc. Just one ticket won't get your license taken away. Just pay the fine or go to traffic school so it won't go on your record.

You can't lose your license. Not for one speeding ticket. As a matter of fact, you have to really screw up to lose your license. However, the insurance rates will become VERY< VERY expensive because of that ticket and you being a young driver.
