Chomsky seems to lean toward a collectivist view as do the Clintons and Obama.

But.. to date, neither Clinton or Obama have been the pacifist voice I believe Chomsky would prefer. Clinton appears to change her voice for each audience whereas Obama is a bit more consistant.

What's interesting here however- the fans of Chomsky incorrectly assume anyone objecting to him, or collectivism, must come from a Bush/Cheney position. This is not the case.

Chomsky merely prefers seeing the redistribution of wealth scheme to benefit the people, whereas the Bush/Cheney crew prefer the spoils go to corporations and the military-industrial complex.

Both are welfare. It's time for the bright minds of this country to stop the finger pointing at whose brand of plunder is better than the other. Both are wrong

Are you mad.He so loves his country that he has spent a life time trying to make his country the moral/ethical bastion of freedom,liberty and democracy .

He has of course had arrayed against him the filthy stinking hypocrites of America.Those that use/abuse/violate GOD and PATRIOTISM to wreck their atrocities in America and around the world.

Those that have no moral problem whatsoever with waging an illegal war of choice based upon a pack of filthy lies that has seen the slaughter of over 3500 US soldiers and over 400,000 innocent Iraqi civilians.Yea,you have heard it all before but tough,it applies everywhere .


Here again is a very limited list of the stinking atrocities other good little Christian Americans have visited upon humans everywhere else in the world and which Chomsky has railed against for decades.

But look,I have come to the sad conclusion that Americans love being hypocrites,love being war mongers,love persuing their NATIONAL FRIGGIN INTERESTS (READ PROFITS) at everyone elses' expense and lives .

Chavez has been DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED THREE TIMES WITH ASTOUNDING PLURALITIES .These elections were judged fair and acceptable by an international team of observers.

Americans no matter what the overwhelming evidence of their atrocities around the world is ,still refuse to accept responsibility and accountability for the friggin evil that they have perpetrated.

The vast majority of South and Central Americans HATE AMERICA'S GUTS and for totally justified reason found in the historical record.Like in the Middle East,the US has supported a pack of vile murderous dictators who killed/oppressed their citizens all to accomodate the US's National Interests (PROFITS CORPORATIONS LIKE THE UNITED FRUIT COMPANY ETC)..
