Why would you want to? If you are an American or a Western European DON'T. The are much harsher on discipline, the living conditions are much worse, and the pay for a month can be made in two days at McDonald's. Russians for the most part try to get out of their draft.

If you are an American citizen and join the Russian Army, that means you lose rights and give up your citizenship.

Lavrenti Beria here, yes, indeed, Commerade! But you might want to first hang out here at Q&A to get a feel for what not having any freedom of speech is like.
