Whether some of you Republicans want to believe it or not there was a large part of the Democrat party who completely opposed Bill Clinton after he approved NAFTA that GHW Bush implemented and also wanted him impeached after it was proved that he perjured himself and that he infringed on the constitution with warrantless search and seizures!!!!!!

When will more of you realize that what this administration is doing is wrong and dangerous for several different reasons.

1. Breaking International treaties!
2. Infringing on the constitution with warrantless foreign and DOMESTIC wiretapping programs!
3. Invading Iraq without approval of the United Nations....while at the same time using the United Nations Iraqi resolutions as a reason for the invasion. So is the U.N. relevant or only when you want it to be?
4. Purposefully outing a CIA officer. How many other officers were jeopardized because of this?

This is just off the top of my head.

Which is more important here?

"There are none so blind as those who will not see!"

You pretty much say it! I have never seen more disrespect for duty, country, freedom, legality and due process than the current administration; they have become an island unto themselves!! At least Reagan weather he was innocent of the Iran-Contra scandal or not, fired people from his cabinet who became a liability unlike the spineless jerk of our current U.S. President and his dad. Hope the next President is what we need: AN AMERICAN FIRST BEFORE BEING A DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN! otherwise he or she will be worthless!! And with all the damage left by the current administration, it will be a very fine line to walk on for a long time if not a good while.

First, the Constitution doesn't cover FOREIGN wiretapping, so drop that from your argument.

Second, the courts have ruled that DOMESTIC wiretapping of foreign-sourced calls is Constitutional in some cases.

Third, UN approval is not required for any action the United States may take - whatever justification may be used.

Fourth - no crime was committed in the outing of Valerie Plame. Scooter Libbey was convicted of trying to COVER UP the internal mechanics of that whole fiasco. As usual, the cover-up is where the crime occurred. As he was the only one who committed a crime, it's fitting that he's the only one convicted.

So the top of your head appears to have only the abrogation of the ABM treaty (unless I'm missing a treaty somewhere), and that treaty was with the USSR, which no longer exists.

It started under REagan. For some reason the GOP thinks Reagan was God and the country was under him. They were crying for another Nixon for a long time and they got the country to forget about the lessons of Viet Nam and now we are repeating ourselves in Iraq, the lessons of the corruption, arrogance and fascism with Nixon and now we have someone worse than Nixon, GWB. The GOP are strong leaders, but they lead in the wrong direction. It just got worse from there to the point where they thought the entire party could do no wrong. OH HOW WRONG THEY WERE AND STILL ARE ON SO MANY ACCOUNTS. And, finally the American people are waking up. The only people making sense anymore are Ron Paul and Kucinich. They do put country before party. They are the only ones actually consulting the Constitution these days rather than their party pundits and so called 'leaders' who are leading us down the wrong road just for the sake of getting elected.

WOW! All these charges, not one fact. Lets look:
1. Which ones?
2. You mean the ones that Clinton started?
3. The president does not need the approval of the UN to invade another country. Iraq was not in compliance of the UN resolutions which the US help pass.
4. The CIA officer was not a clandestine CIA officer. No other officers were jeopardized because of this.

I'd say sometime in the 1990s with the Contract With America. Republicans religated Democrats to the back seat by saying that "The Democrats have failed you. We can do it better." As the volume increased, partisans took more and more control on either side. To the point where we are here debating Libs vs Cons instead of what we can do for our country.

Wow, when did the UN become the guiding basis for this country's agenda? Also, the WH did not "out" a CIA "officer". Even the special prosecutor admitted that.

It appears you need a new top of your head.

Trump has poor judgment (birther company and a comb over) and lacks gravitas, so, No He can no longer. the terrific situation could be him working and drawing off votes from the GOP candidate so Obama wins via a landslide.

September 12, 2001.

Healthy patriotism became demonic nationalism. The party in power, was the Republicans.

We've been in a harrowing race to the bottom, ever since.

I think the advent of the "24/7 'news' culture" is responsible.

First off, it's obvious that this is less a "question" than it is a discussion point. The best I can do for an "answer" is to refer you to the following article:
