I was with the 3rd ACR battalion and attached to the 1st ID brigade but I wear my 3rd ACR patch. However, I have met people who are ridiculous with the combat patches. For example, my brothers NG unit was the option to wear 7 or 8 patches ranging from 1st ID, 101st, 3rd ID, 42ID, and so on because they did "missions" with these units. So, what is the official military standing, I've heard officially you are supposed to wear your combat patch on a company level, i.e. if your company of 3ID soldiers, you wear 3rd ID patch. I have also heard the unwritten rule that whatever patch you wear on your left shoulder during war is the patch you wear on your right shoulder. So please let me hear your voices, comments, concerns, and sources for this combat patch matter. I just see combat patches should have orders like everything else, this whole fradulent citation with Cpl. McClanahan has raised my concern.

Hey, did CBS morning just lie to me, or is George's weakest link calling it quits?

I probably shouldn't gloat, and heaven knows worse things could still come, but I think I still feel like celebrating. How about the rest of us? Anyone glad the Bush Administration is getting rid of him. Is anyone sorry?

I know it may well be because we tend to associate with people most like ourselves but I have never met anyone in real life that I could describe as a Liberal.
Do you know anyone who thinks the European Convention on Human Rights is a good idea, that our Immigration Policy makes sense, that Justice isn't skewed towards the criminal today and that we've got it right with our 'rights before responibility' culture? Could go on with this list but sure you get the idea.
Obviously these people do exist (and fair play to them) just feels like they are given undue attention in the media.

I'm searching this topic and all I find are studies showing that Mexican immigrants commit fewer crimes than American born whites and that cities receiving illegal immigrants have lower crime rates than comparable cities without such immigrants.

Sure, there are some high profile examples of heinous acts by illegal immigrants, but they are less prevalent than things done by American citizens.

My husband is deploying in a few days. I don't know how to tell my 2 1/2year old who loves his daddy to death. Every day on the way home from daycare all he talks about is how hes
going home to see daddy and play. I want to tell him daddy has special very important work to do but i dont know if he understands what "special" and "important" mean yet. I feel like this is a hard age because he can talk and will ask questions but im not sure what he will understand as far as answers. I know tons of people have dealt with this before . What did you tell your kids?

I'm not going to get into a pissing match as to why I have an uncharacterized discharge, but I do from 1998. I emailed the recruiter off their website and got my response and he didn't bring it up as an issue. I want to know if anyone has any other information on the subject.

So now it transpires that we, the British taxpayers, will be footing the bill for the killer of headteacher Phillip Lawrence?

According to media reports, Learco Chindamo, the culprit, will be getting a new home, new identity, and intensive security protection costing up to ONE MILLION a year. And we'll be paying for it!

Do you agree that British justice is a thing of the past? And that Chindamo should have been deported back to Italy? How is it that the judges in other countries manage to interpret the same Human Rights legislation in a more rational way than the lunatics in our British courts?

I feel so, so sorry for the family of Phillip Lawrence.

Now I’m a black women and I personally don’t have a problem with it but I just wanted to know how everyone felt about people dating outside their race? I believe that if you want to date outside your race that’s its ok and no one has the right to say your right on wrong but I do know people who have a big problem with it. Especially black women who see a black man with a white girl. I don’t have a problem with it but I do have a problem with men who say that “ALL YOU BLACK WOMEN HAVE ATTITUDE PROBLEMS”. Now that just not true! I have been out on dates with people outside my race and have had many bad issues with other people around us. I have gotten bad looks and negative comments from other people while on these dates. It sad that people who don’t know me feel that they have the right to tell me who to date and who I should go out with!

What do you think about these plans for a selective amnesty for certain illegal immigrants who fit in to society? Before anyone sees red, it is only for a few, who have worked and would continue to work, who can speak English and meet other criteria.
