Yes, citizens should come first. If you are speaking of illegal criminal aliens, then they deserve NOTHING but deportation. And, they should pay the cost of their own deportation out of the funds they illegally acquired in this country.

If an immigrant is in this country legally, then they are being taxed.
Illegal aliens usually are paid off the books or via stolen/fraudulent SS #s, by which they claim a dozen exemptions. The end result: practically no withholding for federal income tax.
Most healthcare in this country is provided by not for profits which are usually either private (often church sponsored) or public (which is usually a city/county tax sponsored organization).
Not for profits have to make money to stay in business. THey also have to fulfill a significant bad debt and charity care obligation to maintain their tax exemption. So why do you think pays for this? You and me, through both our city/real estate/state/federal income taxes as well as our own boosted insurance rates to cover everyone receiving care in the risk pool (not just those with insurance).
What makes them "special" is their lack of conscience about the matter and their total lack of understanding of healthcare financing. They don't get how it works...they just think it is "free".
And to them--it is. TO you and me, not so much.

How many immigrants do you know personally, and well enough to know they are paying taxes or not? Is your question of immigrants not being taxed based on factual data?
I live in NYC, and I am personally familiar with quite a few immigrants. All such people I've seen so far are decent, tax paying people despite being clearly aware of the fact that they would not be able to get social security benefits at the end of their lives.
Yes. Legal immigrants with green cards MUST pay taxes (and subject to same penalty as a citizen if they refuse to pay taxes) but are not eligible for social security benefits. And I've yet to find one immigrant skipping on his/her taxes even though I'm living in a city full of them. Children of legal immigrants are not eligible for a number of state-based support when applying to college and children of illegal immigrants are not eligible for any and all types of federal and state support when applying to college (not that it's terribly wrong, I just think you are unaware of this), and ofcourse, both legal and illegal immigrants must put their name into the military roster for conscription in states of national emergency (at least, should they wish to attend collge, which most of them do).
I think I should also mention that the comparative majority of the recipients of health care support from government is American citizen, not immigrant, legal or otherwise. Same story goes for the welfare and foodstamps.

No legal IDS no name that's theres , SS# that's someone elses, Who are they an you want then to pay taxes when there payed in cash? Keep calling your SEN an let them know there out next term,Don't forget who voted for the amnesty bill in 08>?

Are you talking about immigrants or illegal aliens? Immigrants are here and in the system, and are being taxed as any other legal citizen of this country is. Illegals are criminals and need to go back their home country to be taxed.

legal immigrants do. people who work pay taxes and even ppl on ss disability pay taxes on goods and services.
if a person comes a refugee our laws have special health programs for them. do not complain on here go to www.congress.gov or www.congress.org and write to your elected officials.

Even when the illegals get a job with a stolen SS card they claim 20 kids and get no taxes withheld.
They don't pay taxes and they deserve nothing but a prison term in a labor camp followed by deportation.
