When you think of the illiegal problem are you only thinking of the hispanics comming across the border? Before I get some negative response for this question I am Mexican and I am a citizen. I am worried about all our borders on all sides. I am worried about all Illegals. The goverment need to find a solution to a way of life that has been going on for decades. We need serious answers that are not only going to help document all illegals but also help protect our borders from terrorists. Immigrants want a solution to this problem as well. Hopefully we can elect a President that won't be scared to do what need to be done in order to protect everyone in the United States.

Rockefeller and Ford fortunes were enhanced in part through collaboration with Nazi Germany, the Rockefellers by selling the Nazis oil through the Standard Oil Company, and the Fords by selling the Nazis tanks through subsidiary corporations (note: the only industrial infrastructure spared in the Allied bombing of Germany was the Ford Motors plant near Cologne). Both Standard Oil (eventually Exxon, Mobil, and Amoco) and the Ford Motor Co. made huge profits from Defense contracts following WWII. Since 1950 a Rockefeller has held a prominent leadership position in the Council on Foreign Relations, and David Rockefeller was cofounder of the Trilateral Commission. Both organizations helped craft the "Carter Doctrine" of the late 1970s which stated that the US would heretofore intervene militarily to protect its oil supply from the Middle East.

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) has been the historical driving force behind such bedrock institutions of corporate globalization as the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization (WTO), and NATO, and which Esquire magazine referred to in 1962 as "that part of the Establishment that guides our destiny as a nation." In 1950, the Chicago Tribune published a story on the CFR in which they stated, "[the members] have used the prestige that their wealth, their social position, and their education have given them to lead their country towards bankruptcy and military debacle. They should look at their hands. There is blood on them—the dried blood of the last war and the fresh blood of the present one."

It is long argued and well documented that the mission of this organization, working in conjunction with the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission, is to manipulate world governments and economies to promote a global, capitalist agenda commonly referred to as the "New World Order". These supranational bodies seek to dismantle national sovereignty (through mechanisms such as "Free Trade" agreements) in favor of a one-world government which primarily upholds the rights of corporations and the wealthy over the people.

I honestly dont get America these days. Too lazy enough to do research on a canididate and quick to cast a ballot based on a brandname. I know thats how the 2nd Bush got here cause he was dry on alot of areas. So now we have Clinton (revamped) who America when asks about her experience, you feel the white house was good enough -- WHEN IT WAS NOT. Although, what has she done when she was in the white house? The scandals, the real truth is blinded from many when it comes to 18 years ago to now.
Clinton a front runner, huh? Perhaps you dont look at the polls enough to see 49% WOULD NOT VOTE FOR HER, also that Obama has a much higher lead vs. the Rublicans than CLinton does. See for your self..

Because the Census Bureau defines "American" to mean an individual within the borders of the United States.

That includes illegal aliens, who number about 20 million.

They're not going to be covered under Hillary's plan - until they become legalized - which would also require passage of the amnesty bill.

And since most of the bills proposed involved a fee - in the area of $5,000 to $10,000 - which, if you "can't afford" health insurance, you don't have - most illegals wouldn't end up being able to buy the amnesty anyway.

With the advent of post-Fordist globalisation, instantaneous communication networks across several cultures and languages, and increased worldwide human migration, national borders and national identity are becoming more arcane and dated. Supranational entities such as the European Union have grown stronger over the years while nascent entities like the African Union have recently arose. Given these conditions, it seems odd that there does not exist a North American Union between the countries of Canada, the United States, and Mexico for the purpose of coordinating increased trade and security ties in the name of greater cooperation and mutual benefit for the region. The idea is politically infeasible for the foreseeable future, this despite the fact that supranational government is viewed as appropriate elsewhere, and indeed a global government will probably be in humanity's distant future if our species exists for a few more centuries. What has held the North American Union back?

The USA has the best quality healthcare in the world. People from all over the world (who can afford it) come to our hospitals for the best treatments. We have the best outcomes in almost every disease in the world. But what im interested in is that if a Democrat wins the presidency in 2008, and they implement a Universal Healthcare system, where the medicine stays private like it is, but the government regulates the insurance companies more and covers the people who dont have any insurance. Will that have a good or bad effect on the quality of care.

When i look for answers over Yahoo for this, the people answering seem not to understand the difference between what the US will probably do, and Socialized Medicine.

I am just wondering, is it because we keep 50 million people out of the healthcare system, that is why our quality of care is better. Or will covering everyone have no effect on the quality.

Any thoughts.

Could this be inferred from Michele Obama's statement that:
" I worry about my husband (Barrack) being shot. How can I not be? He's a black man in America."

It's amazing how the camouflage of liberalism covers for racism.

If I were black there is no way I'd vote for a party that claims my racial extraction is not imbued with the capabilities that other people are born with, and thusly only the government can take care of my needs.

One week ago the Washington Post ran the cartoon "Opus", in which it poked fun at the late Rev. Jerry Fallwell. This week it decided not to run "Opus" because it poked fun at radical islamists. Can someone explain the double standard? If it ridicules Christianity it's OK. If it riducules Islam, it's not OK? I can't wait to watch the tapdancing about this one.

What are your feelings about follow-up care regarding the women stopped from getting abortions by the protesters? How many of those who stand in the rallies holding signs and yelling 'baby killer' who actually prevent an unwed mother from having an abortion come through for her in the end? Seriously, not to get in a yelling match or hurl insults, but how many would take the girl home, feed her, clothe her and see that she gets proper medical care until the child is born and then either adopt it or see that it is placed in an adoptive situation and the girl sent on her way better than before the pregnancy? We hear so much about stopping abortion, but nothing about what to do with the pregnant girls once they decide against it. Would like honest answers, not diatribes.

2 years on and those lazy worthless people are still unemployed, sitting around waiting for our tax money to bail out their lazy butts. Instead of subsidizing stupidity and laziness, how about we take back the trailers, cut off the checks, and let them take responsibility for themselves? In Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Kansas, and Ohio, people are ALREADY rebuilding just days after massive floods ruined 10s of the thousands of homes and businesses. If the people in NO are forced to work to starve, no matter how far they need to go for work, they will either turn into productive citizens, or their laziness genes will no longer be in the gene pool. Sounds to me like a win win situation huh?
