Ron Paul can't run a corner drug store, much less the Executive Branch.
How successful has he been in getting his proposals through Congress, where they belong?
Not very? yep...and you think he'll do better in the White House, where he has to run the Executive Branch?

Why do you supporters keep insisting that Paul won the Iowa Straw poll? Check his website. Even his people say he came in 5th! Please stop the lies. Ron Paul did not win the meaningless straw poll.
BTW, he has only about 3% of the vote in every legitimate poll. Youtube doesn't count as a legitimate group.
EDIT: Hey "jswnwv" stop the lies! Those are NOT the results!

Because the media is not run by truther zombies who only go by Internet polls, that other truther zombies vote repeatedly in only to make it seem like their idiotic candidate is in the lead.
BTW the straw poll means nothing. never has never will. Get over it, your support of Ross Perot... I mean Ron Paul... is pointless.... he cant win, he won't win.
There are too many reasonable, intelligent people out there who know backing Ron Paul is like backing Marshall Applewhite. He might be charismatic and be selling something only crazy people could buy, but we know better than to drink anything he hands us.
ADD ON: LOL Internet polls are flooded by the same people repeatedly to bolster Ron Paul's numbers. Just because you vote 50 times does not mean 49 other real people will vote for him.
The straw poll? If you have a few bucks to pay for a vote you can vote. So if I gave 10000 people the entry fee needed to vote and had them vote for me does that mean I am in the lead for President? No! It means some damn fool was willing to shell out money for a vote that means NOTHING!
It is not hating, it is called being reasonable, intelligent and having an understanding how the system works, somethings the average Ron Paul supporter may want to invest in.

To the people saying he's not winning, did you even click on the provided link?
The media covered the Iowa straw poll because it:
1. was a huge event with over 14,000 people voting - a legitimate reason for giving it a lot of attention.
2. was a show supported by the big political movers (big money).
3. gave the result that they wanted.
Ron Paul did remarkably well in that poll given that the Iowa GOP itself predicted a last place showing. They have since taken this off of their website. Fortunately, the pertinent part of their site was saved here:
http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/014644.html
The media has not covered the other straw polls because:
1. they are relatively small.
2. no one is spending much money there.
3. they are not getting the results that they want to see.

The irony of these answers really cracks me up. Its a shame that people are hungry for more of the same empty suits blowing hot air while slowly but surely running this country into the ground. We have out of control debt, a financial system on the verge of collapse, a military that is being killed over NOTHING, rampant illegal immigrants, etc.....And you people want MORE of that? Jeez.
Its also ironic that these straw polls are the only evidence of people actually voting for an actual person yet I cant look at Yahoo without seeing a story about what Hillary had for lunch or what Obama's wife said yesterday. So THOSE are worth a story but actual people getting off their rearends to vote aren't?

Not a lot of people care about the straw polls since some candidates don't even show up for them so it's not a complete analysis. We have horrible media coverage in this country also. If you want a more complete coverage look elsewhere. Paul is definitely gaining popularity though.

They briefly mention it, but what these straw polls usually indicate is who has the most really hardcore supporters, not who has the most support in general. I think this is Paul's problem. He has about 3% of Republican who absolutely love him, and probably will vote for third parties if Paul loses the nomination, and almost no other Republicans plan to vote for him.

Because the media wouldn't know what to say at this point. The media endorsed war with the editorial space it gave to the voices of Clinton, Rove, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Bush, Rice and the one million copy cats that jumped on the Bush/Clinton Pyramid. The media's means to advertising funds was to endorse violence, and all who employ violence as their means of accomplishment, are obligated to lie. I'm sure the media talks plenty about Ron Paul in their conference rooms.

Because he is actually a leader who deserves to be President, not a puppet controlled by the military-industrial complex and CFR.
But fortunately, people are still intelligent enough to know about the merits of his candidacy. And the mainstream media is not main stream anymore.
So it doesn't matter what it reports. Ron Paul is going to win anyway.
