What are th rules about sending mail to someone who is a trucking school in ft. Leonard wood in missouri. Can you send packages or just letters? and how long is trucking school normally?

You can send either packages or letters, but make sure that the items you put in them, are permitted like white socks, underwear, and personal items. Items like tweezers, nail files, nail enamel, and beauty products that are not shampoo, gel, conditioner, and shaving cream are not permitted. They are very strict and they will inspect EVERY package before handing it to the soldier so don't waste your money buying stuff and trying to sneak it in because they will keep it and most likely, trow it away... Trucking school should last anywhere from 12-20 weeks it all depends on the base's schedule... You can send pictures (that are not personal) they will let the soldier have them and they will help your soldier a lot to going thru the training process a lot smoother... Hope I was helpful...

It is better to send just letters because most of the other stuff you would send in a package is taken away. 88M school is only 6 or 8 weeks

Packages and letters are permitted to be mailed.
The normal resident block of instruction is two months, nine weeks with processing in and out of the school...

Send a letter first to find out how long they will be there, if they are moved it either gets re-routed, or returned to sender.
